I have just picked up the usual prompt about tickets for this competition which takes place in December!!! It is in Yokahama, Japan and we have been allotted 1000 tickets for each of the games--the first paring which cost between £58 and £148, and the final which are priced at £74 and £247.
These fixtures have been placed in what is always the busiest month for us on the other side of the planet and will cause the postponement of the Southampton match and match us up with Villa the day after we arrive home with jet lag!
Is it really a fixture we should be interested in when playing in it could create a handicap in other trophies that mean much more!
 
I know it can be a hindrance but also, I feel we need to go and win it, if to add it as a new achievement in the clubs history, and hopefully we will be back there next year too ;)
 
think you'll find it's alway's held in Japan.use to be big years back to be world club champs,but it's a waste of time since about the late 90's, i think.

I dont know how many home based fans will take up a ticket, but a cant see 1000 making it over there for this one! I reckon the residue will go to Japaese Blues (apparrently they've got a membership of 2500)
 
Yet another money spinning idea from the folks that run the game Internationally.
Play the kids, forget the result, like everyone forgets the game.
Absolute wast of time and money.
 
Another of Blatter's pointless creations to go along with the confederation cup - couldnt give a rats what happens in this - another distraction to rank alongside the "Capital cup".
 
We should win it easy. Most in that competition are **** apart from the south americans, the only time i'd consider playing the big guns is against them
 
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr this is NOT a pointless competition!!!! WE HAVE NEVER WON IT!!!!

Lets win it and sing "we're by far the greatest team the world has ever seen". At least its fact.

If we don't win it I will be GUTTED!!!! I will sacrifice 3 points against Everton away now for that trophy.

Not sure were you got that. The CWC Final is Sunday 16th,Villa Sunday 23rd.http://www.chelseafc.com/fixtures-results
