I'm a big fan of 3-5-2 but also a big fan of personnel to fit a system as well so it can't work for all. Napoli play probably the closest thing to that and they are so exciting to watch.

****, Suarez and Borini both operating through the middle but Suarez more of a free role and borini poaching higher up. Feel it would work but again, don't think 3-5-2/5-4-1 is Rodgers kippa tie.

I don't agree about Gerrard and Sahin not being able to work. Why would we need more than a back 4 and Allen in front against Reading? I'm much happier to see two midfielders trying to get forward as we should be trying to WIN our home games. Its not like we have our forwards flooding into the box at the moment so we need our midfielders getting forward quickly.

I agree about the rest though. Youth players still need to earn a place and Jones is definitely not good enough and probably never will be.

Think he was responding to someone saying Suso in the attacking midfield role, Gerrard and Sahin behind them. If not, sue me. <laugh>

I was wondering that myself. I had to check he's still actually on the books and hadn't been shipped out in another of Rodgers' classic transfer ****-ups. It seems BR has more confidence in Jones, which is as unsurprising as it is wrong.
