Serbia to get a £20k fine and a bit of a slap on the wrist or actually be punished?

Northern Ireland beating Portugal in Portugal. 1-0 at half time.

Roy Carroll and Cory Evans with the links to them and City. Dudgeon and Bruce would be there if it wasn't for the injuries.

Not only might that one give you the opportunity to get extra days off, but you'll probably get your own desk.

    Possibly your own office.

Aids test is a bit radical.
Just tell your boss you have a hole in your roof and have to go home.

AIDS test, or hiv as the more educated might call it would actually work a treat. Say you had a quick shag a lunchtime off of the internet, then she/he dropped the bombshell they are positive. Boss, I have to go to the hospital right now after what has happened as the anti viral drugs are most effective when taken within one hour of infection. Boom out of there for quarter past one, play ill for a week or so though due to the side effects and you've all bases covered .

I think both Poland and Serbia should be punished severly, despite both been completely different circumstances. Firstly there is no way Poland should get away with that, they had the choice to close the roof or not, they didn't. They kept it closed during the Euro's throughout the summer, now when you think they may actually need it they keep it open.

In this day and age racism shouldn't be tolerated, it should be a huge ban, as should whatever else they have done. Personally i haven't seen it, but if its as bad as it sounds they should get a proper ban not some tiny 20k fine.

I think the two are completely different.

Poland should be fined being ****ing useless.

Serbia should be banned for being ****ing ****s.

Pretty clear the racial element going on that video think they need to take some radical action. Not condoning the Serbs by any way at all but didn't understand why Rose felt he had to respond to the crowd as it seemed to make things a lot worse, think players need to be told not to react.

If somebody did monkey chants at me, I'd kick them, not a ball.

Neither FIFA, nor UEFA, take racism seriously, they issue pitiful fines and nothing happens.

I hope that one day a player runs into the crowd and kicks **** out of someone, so that those who are supposed to manage the sport are forced to act and I hope it's a Serbian who get the kicking.

It doesn't look like ITV will be showing it now,, they'd have to cancel two programs. How are we suppose to watch the game?

From what I heard, both teams have to agree to close the roof 24 hours before the game. Poland wanted it kept open. Then, when the rain started they couldn't close the roof, as the mechanism doesn't work in the rain <confused>

As Serbia have had the same issues in the past (with England U21's) I would hope that they are banned.

I thought Wigley was gonna kill someone near the tunnel after the match

Surely Serbia must get some sort of ban now. They (FIFA, UEFA) cant keep dishing out a slap on the wrist and hope racism will go away on its own.

The problem for me is banning a country for the actions of a few morons - the gate was only 10,000 last night and of that 10,000 how many were chanting and how many actually caused the bother?

For me - anybody caught chanting should be charged with a crime, their FA should be fined for not controlling their spectators and they should be made to play their home legs away in the next tournament with no tickets available for Serbian fans - yes they can watch on the telly back in Serbia. should they then qualify their FA should be allocated no tickets for the finals. That disadvantages them but does not punish what I hope is the decent majority of Serbian footie fans.

The Serbian management team(though not the manager himself) made racist remarks, as did the Serbian team and that was before the Serbian players started punching England players. They should be banned for the actions of the team, not a bunch of ******s in the stands.
