England score in the 90th minute to go through the play-off 2-0 on aggregate and qualify for EURO2013.

Rose then sent off post-match for reaction to racial abuse.

Thank God that Clyne didn't go after all!

Evidence of the disgusting chanting...

Shocking.

The Serbs have some serious form for this. There was suggestions the abuse was from players as well as the fans too.

Why the **** did Rose get sent off?, the ref lost the plot.

Serbia should be thrown out of UEFA for this, this is by no means the first time:

From Wikipedia-

In October 2006, 37 Borac Cacak fans were arrested and eight faced criminal charges after racially abusing the club's Zimbabwean player Mike Temwanjera during a first division match. Several days later, 152 supporters of first division side Rad Belgrade were detained after shouting anti-Muslim slogans during a match against their Novi Pazar rivals. Borac Cacak was at the centre of more controversy in March 2008 when a Ghanaian player, Solomon Opoku, was attacked by fans; six fans were later arrested, with four being later charged.
On 29 November 2006, Hajduk Kula coach Nebojsa Vucicevic racially insulted Red Star Belgrade's Senegal defender Ibrahima Gueye.
During a match against England U-21, an unnamed Serbia U-21 player was accused of racially abusing the black English defender Justin Hoyte, while the Serbian fans were alleged to have racially abused England's Nigerian-born full-back Nedum Onuoha.
Following racist abuse from FK Zeta fans, DaMarcus Beasley recalled previous instances of racism while playing away in Serbia, from fans of Red Star Belgrade. However, Red Star has been defended by some of its black players, such as Segundo Castillo and Franklin Salas, with Castillo saying that "Red Star fans are not racist".

You'd like to think that maybe he didn't realise what had happened and just saw Rose boot the ball in to the crowd - clutching at straws but hopefully common sense will prevail and it will be rescinded in the coming hours/days.

This is a complete disgrace. FIFA should grow a backbone and ban Serbia from international football.

You can't rescind a second booking.

Was watching the match on tv, and it was always going to kick-off. There was stuff getting thrown at Butland throughout the 2nd half, and the atmosphere was seriously intimidating for an U21 game. Felt sorry for Rose at the end, getting sent off for booting a ball into the crowd when you have been subject to that kind of abuse is ridiculous, the ref should have let it go and let FIFA sort the whole sorry mess out afterwards.

Paul Ince looked visibly upset and on the verge of tears in the studio afterwards, must be horrible seeing your son involved in those scenes and not be able to help him.

Finally, as the OP said, I'm glad Clyne was not there tonight and didn't have to experience that 1st hand.

It was indeed a second booking. Therefore there is technically no way to rescind it....but then maybe the lawmakers if anyone can...?

No? Thought not.
