I am waiting for Chapple to get his place on the Robbie James Hall of Fame. As I say, there were moments when you saw his passsing and you thought he'd step up and be the new Cornforth. Indeed, I remember O'Leary having one blinder of a season in League 2, scoring goals from midfield and being a really good engine. But neither of them kept it up over the long term.

I did play alongside Jamie Harris for Mumbles once. He always felt like a missed opportunity. Played one season - bit of bad luck infront of goal and he was out.

I do remember that Steve Jenkins used to be a blooming awful crosser of the ball. Always up in the stands. We used to joke about it but as soon as he did a bit of practice, started finding players, he was off to a Championship side. We asked for it, I supposed.

Can't call Lita or Knight flops in my eyes. Knight was instrumental in our Play Off push in our first League 1 season (scored a peach against Brentford in the semis). Lita scored goals and caused problems in the Premier League when called upon. Neither are fantastic players, but neither were awful.

Pawel Abbott gets my vote. Unlike players like Ryan Harley and Scott Donnelly (who were just straight up unlucky to join in a season that we just outgrew them within 6 months), Abbott joined as a proven striker at the level we were playing at and just didn't contribute.

For me I though Dai Davies was a flop. Dave Stewart was a much better goalkeeper than Dai the drop. Pawel Abbot was crap as well.

Played with Keaveny when he was a couple years away from signing for the swans, came from the stars not the colts! great player actually and if things had been a bit different at the club he might have done ok there, cuzsack was playing him wide instead of up front which didnt help!!

Everything was ****ed up back then !! aiden newhouse ?? remember that muppett ..<laugh>

Agree , too good for the Senior league but joined the Club during Cusacks reign and after his leaving the club had a huge clear out and Keavney was one of them . Aiden wasn't really a success (I'm being polite) was he

One of my earliest memories of Cardiff City included ex Swansea player Chris Marustik. Absolute garbage.

    Also Dave Penney - useless.

On the other hand Curtis and Robbie James were different class.

It can only be the most decorated player of recent years to put on a Swans shirt .............. Jordi "UEFA Cup Winner" Lopez.

He has to win this to bring balance and order to his life and life in general, since a a UEFA medal cannot be the last thing he wins !!!

Aiden Newhouse!!! I remember a game where his only notable contribution was making a block on a goalbound shot - from our own team!!:emoticon-0106-cryin

Crazy how people with such potential never quite make it, one of the lads who plays with me used to be captain of Cardiff school boys / youth which included a certain Aarron Ramsey! He is simply too good for Swansea senior football....his brother also quit playing for Neath to go travelling! Bad move.
