I strongly dislike those ****s that take a whole table to themselves on trains. They're there for groups of 4 to sit together at, **** off.
I agree with that - the interesting thing is that research has shown 99% of people who do this are actually supporters of Liverpool Football Club.
I'm apparently desperate to find a fault with a diving, racist cannibal. Right... Much in the same way that MPs are largely anonymous? Actually, I'm saying there's two reasons his profile is so prominent - he does it, and his manager whines about him not getting away with it. Suarez wouldn't have been in a position to show his ignorance of who Jim Boyce is if Brendan Rodgers kept his mouth shut. Would he have said he didn't know who Nicolas Leoz or Sebastian Bauza is if he was namedropping Suarez's name in regards to being a cheat? You don't have new stadium plans, you have plans to redevelop the one you're currently in. You know, Everton's ground? Besides, you haven't even submitted planning application yet, so right now it's nothing but talk - just like the hazy talk of redeveloping or replacing Anfield from your last two sets of owners that never came to anything.
'New stadium plans' doesn't necessarily mean plans for a new stadium I imagine you could name most of the executive and your local MPs... but not all 650, but that's a moot point. And also, furthermore, MPs are a pretty poor comparison, as they are directly elected to represent their constituency and the UK as a whole... unlike at FIFA This is petty even for this thread. This FIFA official was out of order to single out one single player, he's been put back in his box... No big deal, really. Not sure why you're making an issue of it; if it had've been Bale you'd be furious.
Actually, it does - the correct phrase is "plans for redeveloping our stadium...you know, Everton's ground." At a guess, you can name the Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor and Home Minister, and probably the VP of the USA, i.e. the most senior figures aside from the Prime Minister/President. Also, Jim Boyce was elected - to the Irish Football Association. FIFA cherrypicks from those, especially the British ones because half their board is given over to one individual each from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales (with the other four representing the rest of the world) The petty resposne is Suarez's, but what do you expect from him? Not really, given it's highly unlikely that Bale would have given a response so childish, nor does our club have a victim complex in the stands as well as the dugout that brought it to Boyce's attention in the first place. I repeat, if Rodgers kept his mouth shut, would Boyce have named Suarez? Probably not.
All joking aside, I had a very interesting an wide-ranging discussion with some mates, tonight, about "whether 'Pool will ever be great again?" After a lot of good, honest, objective debate, we all came to the conclusion that, no, 'Pool probably will never be great ever again, that they shot their bolt in the 70s and 80s, but that you'll probably eventually settle around the level of the Toon and Everton, basically making up the numbers for a creditable challenge for 4th each season, sometimes making it, mostly not, though. Of course, that level is at least four or five seasons away, realistically. Yes, you were a "great" club - no honest fan could possibly deny that - but them days are long gone, now. To say that we and the Mancs are "obsessed" with you, therefore, is very wide of the mark. "Fascinated by the downfall" is probably a better and more accurate way of putting it.
Can't blame you being fascinated HIAG, it's been a rollercoaster ride for us over the last few years tbh, 2 Champions League finals, almost going into admin, 2 different owners since Moores sold up , 4 managers in as many years. When you say downfall i assume you mean since our last CL final?, if you mean in a broader timescale since the 80's our trophy haul(barring the league title)is impressive in that time. It's a long haul trying to get back to the top as you Spurs fans will testify due to having to endure it for a much longer period, maybe if you ever win the CL before your next league title it will lessen the blow during the long wait.
Of all the things you could deride Suarez over - and theres quite a few unfortunately - him not knowing some jobsworth at FIFA is the best you could do. I guarantee no-one on this website and not one Spurs player had any clue who he was until he used the Suarez trick to get noticed. If this is the Zenith of banter and tribalism towards so called 'rivals' ( I don't and never have considered Spurs our rivals for the record) I think this visit is going to be a waste of time.
I like that saying, good way of putting it. I think this is a good test for LFC supporters. It seperates the wheat from the chaff. We picked up a lot of plastics during 2000s due to the treble we did, Istanbul, Athens and the FA Cup and a few other cups here and there, who thought it was all glory being a Liverpool fan it was easy, it was CL every year at least the quarter finals every year, it was taken for granted and nothing that much was asked back from the fans other than creating atmospheres for the big European Cup games. Now were struggling, with a new manager, philosophy, players, owners this is when its the time to stand up as a fan and be counted, to take the rough with the smooth, the glory with the misery and its now more than ever the Manager and the players need support in general and especially at Anfield. We don't need the plastics moaning, booing at the ground, being impatient and unrealistic, creating a more pressured and negative aura around the club and especially at Anfield. Just like with City, Leeds, Forest, when we come through this episode to the light at the other side, we will be a much stronger club and fanbase for it. We will appreciate it all so much more after taking it for granted, we will, in essence, be much better and more helpful supporters, and all the plastics and glory hunters who jumped on the bandwagon for whatever reason will hopefully have gone to support City or Chelsea. Whatever doesn't kill you and all that is a very apt adage here. The true fans will shine through and carry the club forward. If you can't support us now were losing, don't come back and support us when were winning again.
He does. Almost as bad as Bale but with Suarez he actually waits to feel contact. While Bale plays for Spurs you lot lose any privilidge to call Suarez on diving.
A twat your Chairman was absolutely desperate to - twice - come and take over from Redknapp. It was a done deal until Dalglish got sacked, Hodge got England and the waters were muddied.
Your worse than HIAG. Your weirdly obsessed. And aren't you a Watford fan did I see someone say? Strange.
I know the lad behind the the Jenkins character and its all true. Wait until the rest comes out. No fan of a club who pays best part of a grand every year for a season ticket should have the 4th in command of the club personally lie to get you to meet him then threaten you, your family and his businesses with ruin because he setup a fake wannabee ITK character on Twitter. He has all the proof of the threats he needs (which Chang has been informed of btw, although doesn't know exactly what it is yet, which is why he has only made a very weak denial and not took any soort of legal action against Sean or any of the papers running the story) but obviously isn't going to show his hand at this early stage. Unless he apologises for the threats and stalking using a private investigator its goodbye to our Director of Communications. H also has considerable previous for this type of thing so from an LFC point of view its a good thing that he goes.
