Even though today's racing isnt the best, we do indeed have some racing of note to watch. With the racing coming to us from Musselburgh, Salisbury, Windsor and also from across the water at Roscommon - Though with today's weather that could mean across from York to Haydock...!!!

Any thoughts on today's fare, selections or tips will be greatly appreciated. As would any interviews with the stars - Oddy's interview techniques and Aidens, sorry RV's answers were superb on yesterdays thread...<applause> Parky eat yer heart out... Then please do so...<cheers>

Good luck today if you indeed decide to play...<ok>

Good morning racing corrospondants. I was away all w/e and it was a joy to log on this morning and catch up on the banter. Looks as though everyone had a good day on Saturday and some humerous comments.
Now then today, the M & F Funeral services handicap at Muss, with a name like that it must be worth having a few bob. Angelo Poliziamo looks to have a bit of a chance at 5/1 so i shall await the wise words of fellow punters to add a couple for a small accum.

Bad day today.....bad back (can't play golf); bad vibes; bad news.
And now we've got this bad flat racing......consign it to the rubbish bin and let's get the jumps into full swing!
    That's made me feel better!
I see Oddy's online....makes me wonder if he does any work over there in Krautland!
    Otherwise, good morning everybody!!!!

Always worth taking note when Ruby Walsh and Tony Martin team up and they team up with Miriam's Dream in the 4.25 at Roscommon. He has had experience over hurdles, finishing 3rd on debut in January behind Caolaneoin (who went on to finish 18 lengths 3rd to Trifolium in a Grade 2) and Willie Mullins horse Theleze (who then dotted up by 15 lengths in a maiden at Limerick).

Another prolific combination is Noel Meade and Nina Carberry and they team up in the last with the Flemensfirth gelding Couleur France.

    Win singles and a cheeky barney-rubble <ok>

    Best of luck everyone.

Is that short for doing f---all?
You haven't worked for a local Council , have you?
It reminds me...one of my best friends(ex army) worked for the local council and I put up this story in our golf club changing room...

An ex-military man applied for a job with the local council.
When he told the interviewer he was ex-army and was demobbed early due to having his testicles blown off by a roadside bomb in Iraq, he got the job straightway (same terms as my friend enjoyed before he retired)- 8am-5pm;15 days bank holiday; two hours off for every extra hour worked; 6 weeks annual holidays; time off to play golf twice a week.
As he was going out the door, the interviewer said..." I'll see you on Monday at ten o'clock then."
The man replied...." I thought you said we started at eight o'clock."
"Yes, we arrive at eight, but we scratch our balls for a couple of hours first- and you can't do that, can you?"

PS. My mate ripped it off the golf club wall as soon as he saw it! Truth will out!

Sounds like my kind of job - it shouldn't be all "work, work, work" <ok>

    Hello lads.

Quite right Tam...work is overrated...get yourselves a big fat voluntary redundancy package! <laugh>

I've already been on the practice ground crunching a few and shall soon be cracking a cold one and finishing reading The Sunday Times.

Poor racing today...nothing for me again...haven't had a punt in ages.

GL anyone venturing forth toward the satchels.

Cheltenham opens its doors for the first time this Friday and Saturday Dex, might be enough to get the moths out of your wallet <ok>

Currently entered on Friday and catching the eye are: The New One, King of the Night (first official run for Harry Fry), Sea Of Thunder, Landscape, Population and Dodging Bullets.

Too right Oddy......looking forward to it even more than "Champions Day" even if that is committing the equivalent of racing Heresy!

I see Rite Of Passage is entered for the Long Distance Cup. Could he be a dark horse for the Champion Hurdle this season?
