It was non league day yesterday and I see Ferribys gate was probably nearly double the usual attendance. Must have been a good few City supporters there I would think. Well done to those that went, it does help the club financially. You got to asee a 2-0 win that took them to the top of the Northern Prem.

i went as i always do when city and ferriby fixtures dont clash. there may have been a few city faces there, however, i d say that the large swell was probably due to a good turn out from witton. for the record, it was a classic game of two halves, although you d have to say that in the end witton were probably unfortunate not to get the draw. having said that, they should have been dead and buried by half time. swings and roundabouts perhaps. once again, bradshaw was a class above this level. steve gardner (ex City youth) impressed at right back, and ryan williams played the full game for the first time in the two games i ve seen him play in this season. i was surprised talking to a regular at the rumoured level of remuneration given to one young ferriby player in particular. and there was me thinking that ferriby almost went under last season!!!!
Ah yes.....I remember the day when a certain Mr Windass was making life particularly unpleasant for any player who dared to try and get past him, with or without the ball.
I went yesterday for the 1st time in years and really enjoyed it I agree about Bradshaw his volley that hit the bar in the 1 st half was quality also impressed with Nathan Peat ex city.

Sadly I don't live near Hull anymore (I will be back) so I couldn't get to the Ferriby game but (I know it's not none-league) I went with the Mrs' Dad to a more local game to Burton Albion vs Bristol Rovers and it was quite a sobering site. It made me realise just how bad we were around 10 years ago.

£9 at Ferriby and the standard is quite good. The whole experience is still very friendly and the footballers seem ordinary blokes somehow, unlike the likes of even conference players these days. having said that, as I said above, i couldnt believe the sum rumoured being paid to one half decent youngster!!!
To be fair the game yesterday was pretty much a standard Ferriby game. Well at least for this season, they just can't seem to finish sides off this year, and i agree with you on Bradshaw i still stand by though he is Ferriby's must inconsistent player.
