Our fans football team or directors always get critised by a number of City fans on our board. In the main it is taken with good grace and humour and this season has been no exception.

So as CJS posted a Rovers current form guide lets take a look at City's current form or lack of<whistle>

Current Form (last 6 games) at home they are 16th and away 20th.

Combined form over 10 games they sit at 21st in the championship.Really good then :emoticon-0172-mooni

Goals (F-A) at home scored 14- against 12, whereas away scored 4- against 7.

    Combined over 10 games(-1)

They are under the impression that they have a good attack and crap defence hmm this is probably down to the fact that they do not get much travelling support :emoticon-0177-toivo as they have to walk the dog or something?, so no one actually sees the away games as they have failed to score in 60% of there away matches<doh>

At home it is a different story they have not failed to score in the last 5 and are ranked 1st out of all clubs
with an average goals scored of 2.80% over the last 6 games vs away 0.80% .

They have however still failed to score in over 30% of all the last 10 matches

On the defensive fraility side they rank 24th (surely not bottomn):emoticon-0183-swear at home letting in over 2.4 goals and away 1.40 goals a match and cannot keep a clean sheet .:emoticon-0106-cryin

This leaves City with that sinking feeling letting on average over 10 games almost 2 goals per game so at least you get to see some action even if you lose which they have been of late.:emoticon-0105-wink:

So in conclusion they have lost over 50% of there total matches played (10) 40% of them at home and 60% away.

Would you be concerned if you were a City fan (probably not if you are one of the deluded majority)<party>:emoticon-0136-giggl and breathing a sigh of relief that the International break will give them time to practice or pick up a few loan players to stop the inevitable slide into the relegation zone.

Well done school boy but we are 17th over a combined 10 game period?

Now you really are becoming bitter, to find all that info out, but statistics don't cover up the true position that the table tells you.<laugh>

You are 17th but only by goal difference over a 10 game period....... the other teams down to 21st have a worse goal difference (explanation For minus against equals difference), even you know that:emoticon-0106-cryin.

However Rodders sorry einstein you need to look at current form to understand the true difficulties that your team are in.

I would not expect you to understand the stats however given your great age happy to put it simpler terms for you.

Your team are in the crapper.

Oh and here is a site that may help you www.ageuk.org.uk/

Goal difference or not we are 17th. At least till a week Saturday if results go against you tomorrow you could be in relegation spot, unless some are playing against each other not checked.

And I'm only 46, and a ****ing young one as well ;)

I thought you were a resistant sheep herding resident.

Back to the thread - the red boys should be a little concerned as their stats are boosted by the 'gimee' 3 points at the Posh.

Since I'm not interested in looking at the worst division in the football league, you must be up there in the play off spots or even autmotic promotion to post this.

Don't be so bitter COR, it's not good for your health :D

Absolutely no bitterness here LL <smooch>just stating the facts,as a club you have more financial clout than Rovers definantely play in a better league for how long who knows, judging by your current form you are on your way into L1 which is probably a more realistic level for 1982 ers.<yikes>

Still time for you to sort it out splash some cash and shore up the defence and hope that others around you are unable to pick up points.:emoticon-0164-cash:

As you know we are as far off of the playoff and automatic spots as City.

Still have a lot to do at least we managed a draw today away from home against a team that are in 5th position so a reasonable return given the injuries in the team we had to play Clarkson (remember him) in midfield! and he still scored 3 in 3 games looking better.

You must be looking forward to playing managerless Bolton next week a chance to climb away from the bottomn.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

"Still have a lot to do at least we managed a draw today away from home against a team that are in 5th position"

Or look at it this way, a team who were in the conference only a few years back, but what a result! drawing away to.. BURTON!!

"As you know we are as far off of the playoff and automatic spots as City"

For a team who were touted to "walk the league" by the media and fans alike thats hilariously poor.

And yeah I do remember Clarkson, he was crap.. not suprised he's doing well in League 4 though.

Shame you cannot wish Clarkson well,he is fitting in well with us and working as hard as he can playing out of position scoring goals.

Definately a player who is getting fitter, performances improving under Mcghee and enjoying his game, like his attitude a welcome addition to the Rovers team (even if he is ex City).

Burton have not lost in 8 games and are one of the form sides in L2 at home ranking 3rd over last 6 games and 1st in goals scored!

No way would we walk the league or reach a playoff position however we are improving match by match.

BCFC were touted to finish in 21st or in the bottomn three of the Chapionship Hmm<party>

I personally do think you will finish 21st............

Comparing the "gas" with Bristol City is like comparing Shrewsbury with Southampton,Aston Villa or Wigan, you are being ridiculous....
