Owen Coyle has been sacked by Bolton. Can't say I'm surprised and definitely not unhappy after what he did to Burley.
I just hope they remain in disarray until we've played them and don't get some manager who will turn them round.

no surprises from me, at the beginning of the season a few of us predicted no better than mid table from bolton, on paper 10 points from 10 games and 18th is a shocking start give the players they have and coyle has quite rightly paid for that with his job.

He should have gone last season imo.

Really sad to see him and Keane go as they were both limiting factors in what appears to be 2 pretty decent squads of players. Wonder if a few at Bolton thought this Championship thing was going to be a bit of a stroll with the quality in the squad. A new manager might get them ticking though and as Reading proved last year....It's not how you start it's how you finish!

We might get lucky and Coyle might go to Blackburn, but somehow I doubt it. I want the clown Shearer to go there work his magic the same way he did with Newcastle. lol

What happened to reading was a once in a blue moon (man city reference) but probably won't happen to Bolton imo

I know why he has gone - results and league tables speak for themselves - but to me its a pity as he has always been and will be a real football man. I love his enthusiasm for the game - never mind all the suited and booted managers, he was always there with his kit and boots on, just itching to get on the park and play again.

He will have a bit of a break now, do some tv and radio and then get another job although maybe a little lower down the scale, Div. 1 probably - Bournemouth need a new manager now.

I also like Owen Coyle, and he has paid the price for what may be over expectation at Bolton. He will always be sought after by the TV so if i were in his shoes i would take all the Pundit work i could and just sit back and enjoy life.

I'm an admirer of Coyle but its a results driven business and he's paid the price for a poor run of games.

I see he's been given a vote of confidence by Mandaric, so probably yes.
