Worried that the idiots on Canary Call and Pink Un will put so much pressure on Hughton that his job becomes untenable. The so-called fans on there are calling Hughton things like 'a clown' - AFTER SIX PREMIERSHIP GAMES! We lose away to Chelsea - who are possibly going to win the league - and these morons crawl out of their holes and say Hughton isn't up to the job. Are these people really fans or do they just get their kicks out of predicting armageddon? Oh, and one of them seems to think we should sack Hughton and get the guy from Dortmund - yeah, he is really going to give up the Champions League to come and take over at Norwich, isn't he? Or why not go for Guardiola instead? What are these guys on?

Then there are the Lambert groupies who still can't get over the rock star who deflowered them and then rode off into the sunset to bigger and better things. Have you noticed where Villa are in the league, guys? Villa, who apparently are such a much bigger club than we are? What has your rock star done for them so far? One point more than us. They have played West Ham, Swansea, Spurs, Southampton, Everton, West Brom, and Newcastle. I don't think those games are any more difficult - probably a little less difficult - than the ones we have played. So obviously if Lambert was still in charge here we would have 15 points by now and be second in the league.

Before the season began I came on here and criticised some of the things Hughton did, especially shipping out Vaughan and keeping Martin. But now we're into the season and it's for real and it's up to us to stand by our club through thick and thin. And our club means our manager and our players even when they are not playing very well. They gave their all yesterday - that was plain from the very start. And these tossers who are starting to boo them and spread their negativity will only drag the club down. Is that what they want?

Sorry, I know this is a rant but I just cannot believe the mindlessness of some of our supporters. Why don't these glory hunters just go away and support Barcelona or whoever wins the next Champions League? These guys don't deserve the last three years we've had - they clearly don't appreciate how much we've achieved because they seem to think it's a matter of clicking your fingers and everything's hunky dory. The players and manager and board are all working like crazy to turn things around and they really deserve better.
 
Well said. I'm happy with Hughton. The result yeaterday was NOT a disaster. Now I really want to see Beef's Pink 'un highlights of the week.
 
Couldn't agree more vietnam. If sense isn't restored soon I hope McNally will come out publicly with a few home truths. <ok>
 
I would be more than shocked if mr McNally takes any notice of Canary Call and Pink Un comments are probably posted to make the staff laugh at Carrow Road
 
Apparently many QPR fans are tweeting or whatever you do that Hughes should be sacked and 'arry brought in. Of course many of the Saints fans are hoping for the same thing.
Supporters can say what they like as long as its not personal. It won't make any difference unless it starts big time at matches. Trouble is success has to be permanent nowadays whereas in the real world its not achievable for most of us. We have had three years of unqualified success. If it turns sour this year then suck it up and wait for the next good period.
 
It really does beggar belief doesn't it! Those of us that are a little more mature ;) remember that it took old red nose more than two full seasons to get ManUre up to speed, why should CH not be afforded a bit of breathing space!

Yes, I agree with your last sentence. The problem is that the people who seem determined to turn this into a crisis may actually manage to do that by spreading their negativity in the stands and onto the pitch.

Yes, the critical thing is if it starts to affect the atmosphere at Carrow Road. The home crowd anyway has a tendency to go quiet and wait for the team to do something. I really think it would make a big difference if we could have 25,000 cheering and hollering for 90 minutes at the next two home games -- Arsenal and Spurs -- irrespective of what's happening on the pitch. Hopefully the team WILL give us something to cheer about, but the message will be even stronger if it happens whatever. <ok>

Problem is the crowd moan at the slightest thing.
 
The roller coaster of NCFC continues on. Since the early seventies we have been up and down like a fiddlers elbow and people can't say they don't get value. If all you want to see is NCFC win then I suspect you are in for a fallow time. However, if you go and support because you love the club, then things have never been better.

I think it was about 4 - 5 years he had before he won anything skipper, and that was the FA cup in 1990 against Palace, after a replay. Since then they haven't looked back.
If i remember rightly, there was talk of him one game away from the sack, until a certain Mark Robins scored as a sub against Forest in the FA cup, and that started his cup run.

Unfortunately he is come in at a time when your team has peaked he will always be compared now to Lambert's time as this is pretty much Lambert's team. He's on a hiding to nothing that's for sure!

You can see CH is the right man for the job, just as you could see poor old Gunny was completely out of his depth! As for PJ, may he be your manager for the next decade!
