I thought that Bale's dive today was embarrassing, but then I saw this:

    Oh, that's fine.

    Anyway, on the dive...

It was terrible. If you care to look on the Liverpool board, we are unanimously saying so.

BUT - what will now go unnoticed by the media and many keen rival fans is that Suarez spent 90 minutes being kicked around the pitch by the Stoke team - especially by Robert Huth, who was very lucky to be on the pitch for that long.

Huth is a horrible player. I'll be glad when he leaves the Premier League.

  8. That should be the headline on the back of Monday's hack newspapers.

What a clown that bloke really is! Okay, so we all know that Roy Rodgers has been telling his players to dive at every opportunity (for which comment the FA appear to have turned a deaf ear, by the way), but the very least Suarez could do is make the dive look half-convincing. It was a dreadful effort. Did you see the way he kicked out both legs and simultaneously threw out both arms, when he was already falling over. It was one of the worst dives I have ever seen, far worse than that awful Gerrard dive, a few seasons back (the one where, yards away from any opposition player, he kicks out his trailing leg and takes a random tumble).

What I think ever home team should do is play that clip of Suarez diving, when they play 'Pool, in order to (a) embarrass the buck-toothed twat, and (b) remind the ref not to give anything in his favour, ever.

The honest Mouser must be thoroughly ashamed of what 'Pool have become, as we all are.

Coyle has just been sacked, no doubt a sobering thought for Rodgers. Moving to a bigger club, who's in a similar position in the league, on the back of one good season in the top flight can kill a promising career. Too much, too soon and that. Extremely glad the rumours that we were interested in the 2 of them had no substance.

I've never rated Coyle. I just don't see what people see in him. He got a few good cupsets and got promoted via the playoffs in what was the weakest Championship of the last 5/6 years.

I think the only thing that has saved Rodgers from more scrutiny is that most clubs have started slowly. QPR and Norwich have not got off the mark yet in terms of wins and Southampton are getting opened up like Eucalyptus every week.

It's hard to see Liverpool getting many points in November so they really need to end this month strongly or they could be in a relegation battle.

If Reading were to spring a shock, and they've not had any really bad results this season, so it might not be totally out of the question, then Rodgers will get slaughtered by the media.
They always have someone in their sights and tend to batter away til that man's gone or his side's results improve dramatically. A loss in the next game could well see him becoming that target.

  16. I said, right from the very start, that Roy Rodgers would be sacked before the season was out. He is completely unproven at the top level, and 'Pool are not a very good side. Put those two things together and you have what we now have - a team that should be mid-table, floundering in a relegation battle. The only thing that surprises me is that few people (including the so-called professional pundits) failed to spot this.

By the way, that clip of the cowboy lassoing Suarez, is utterly superb! It highlights just how dreadful his dive was, and what a clown that player really is. I'm so glad that we don't have anyone like him in our squad.

It's still early days but they don't really look like they're showing any serious signs of improvement. It's really not helping Rodgers' cause that he now appears to be at war with the world. I think you can do that when things are going well but when you're already in trouble hitting out doesn't help. I can't imagine the supporters being too sympathetic for too long either. They won't go down (much as it would give me great joy to see it happen) but it's hard to see them making any sort of challenge.

All of that said you watch them win a Cup now

I wonder how long cheating monkey boy bale will be out for after the Scotland v Wales match. Charlie Adam is sharpening his studs as we speak.

  19. I'm going to put a bet on, that 'Pool finish in the bottom-half of the table, this season. I doubt I'll get very good odds, though, that's the trouble.

    Unbelievable!

There is the mighty 'Pool, on its knees, and taking the greatest shafting in the league since records began, and Roy Rodgers is playing party games with the squad!

What will it be next, pin the tail on the donkey?

    Oh, wait! Carroll's on loan...
