Too little, too late again. Torn now about this, but hope things change re. selection next game. Mistakes are fine as long as you learn from them. I wonder if he will?

He has shown repeatedly this season he does not learn from mistakes. Eg today played Clint at LB after the disaster Monday. Persists in playing Park and SWP when they are clearly way off their best now. He got 1 thing right today in playing Adel, but I think we'd have been better off if he'd played for us more earlier.

Your Best Ever Post Flyer. Summed it up perfectly. He's had enough time now and I don't believe we have got above 17th under him yet, despite that spend and a Jewel called Adel who he inherited. He has got to go, like YESTERDAY!

17th our highest in over 9 months, says it all.

Do you Guys have sense of loyalty and longevity at all?

Give him 10 games.

2 goals back away at WBA (first goals conceded at their place). Does that mean nothing to you?

WAIT FOR 10 GAMES.

I suspect I will be in the minority.

I doubt I'd agree had it not been for the turmoil of the last few years, but none the less I do.

I totally understand those who want Hughes out, but we cannot do it this 'early' into the season/long term project. A plan has been put in place, and yes its not working at the moment but whats the point in a long term plan if we chuck the towel in so early into it?

I couldnt criticise TF if he did sack Hughes, but for me we need to give it a bit more time. I agree we cant leave it until January to sack him (that is far too late) but if say by the end of november it hasnt improved then I wont be able to argue against it. Last year january was too late, we just got away with it. We cant let it happen again if things are not looking good.

Judo I went today

It's not working now under Hughes and it won't be working at the end of the season under him either

Sometimes you've got to put your hands up and say it was the wrong decision

Now is that time

I'm with you on this Judo
Give him more time...he has been battling with a defence injury problem
We have played some great football but only for half matches...when it clicks and I am sure it will....we will haul ourselves up the table

Come on u RRRRRRRRRRRRs

Hughes is all talk and never any result. The crap he spewed THROUGH HIS AGENT about how he did brilliantly at Man Citeh while he was there is such politicking bull ca-ca, it's unbelievable!

Hughes out, now, please. He is a totally clueless man who should never manage a PL team again.

Yap,Yap,Yap................Yappy out now please he is a totally clueless a man (???) who should never manage to get on a forum again !!!!!!!!!
Every time you come on here to post you make Victor bloody Meldrew sound positive, OK we get the message, you are a negative thinking person. The sort of person who can never see anything good in anything they look at.

I didn't want him in the first place, but these players are his team. If they aren't playing for him why should they play for Redknapp or solskaejer or whoever. It's not like we're playing piss poor like the run we had with hartford or phart, let's panic around Christmas time not now

We are playing worse than we did under Hart.
Hart = 5 points from 5 games
Hughes = 22 points from 26 games

You have to go back to John Gregory to find a manager with a record as bad as Hughes.

How do we know it wont work? Things change in football and can change very quickly.

Well based on the fact he's had 10 months to get an away win and has failed I think that's time enough! What would your measure be? When we're relegated? Another few games? At this rate a quarter of the season be gone

It is pretty unfair to add last seasons games to that total - that was a horrible scenario to enter a club at and it wasnt his team.

Although even taking them out of the equation he still has a worse record than Hart!

Last season we survived sacking Warnock in January, just. So if by the end of november things havent improved then sack him. That gives us more time, and time to plan our approach in Jan with a new manager.

Then we risk losing 6 points in "easy" homes games against Reading and Saints. The latest it can be done is after Arsenal which really means he should go if we lose to Everton because we have no hope against Arsenal.

Be too late by then Tooting!

With respect mate, you won't be able to see whether you're in the minority or not with your head that far buried in the sand!
I understand that we don't want a revolving door policy to managers...........BUT, just how long do we leave it? You say 10 games and that's probably fair enough. That's over a quarter of the way through the season. I worry that it will be left too late and any new man won't have enough time to sort it out. It's notoriously difficult to fight your way up the table when you sart as badly as we have. We have good players, but, yet again, Hughes makes mistakes in his selection for the starting 11 and we're 2-0 down after 30 mins, just like we were against West Ham.

Something has to give!!

Col, for me, I just feel the 'nearly' that is going against us at every turn, will shift in our favour just by the law of averages. I gather Bosingwa missed a sitter at the end to go 3 all. Great pity cos we would have viewed that as some progress.

Ultimately, it is not my millions that are at stake. Safeguarding those millions will be what drives any decision re the manager.

If they were my millions, I am sure I would have a different view. I don't envy TF's position at all.
