I've just been watching sky sports news and the story was Fulham's leading premier league goals scorers. And Steed is their third top scorer with 32 goals, i know its was a few years ago and people would argue he was a lot younger then. But just 10% of those goals wouldn't go a miss over next four games!!!
well he should get a bit more playing time now, even a couple would be nice, or setting them up for the rest to put away.
i can see him playing a lot more to now, hope he puts in the performances like earlier on in the season.
i didnt say that so that pretty out of context mate. Infact i would play malbranque i have you know. I wouldnt play malbranque away from home though or i wouldnt play him on the left, thats what i would maintain. Hes still good but if everyones talking about the next level then surely you want to be giving someone else a chance to bed them in for next season?
we ain't got no one left to bed in, steeds gonna have to play on the left, or up with sess, centre is ok with catts/colback, and jordan on the right. who else can we put there? maybe zenden...
good one! I would start malbranque but you could start riveros to try and get him used to the prem with a run of games?
with the lack of players we now have, maybe riveros will get a look in, only way we're gonna find out.
Steeds goal scoring record for us is disappointing, but I wonder how many assists are attributed to him during his time with us? I agree with Riveros. He has to be played to see if he is worth another punt next season, maybe behind Sess? Muntari has to take the left midfield spot IMO.
I'm with some on this and other threads i.e. Riveros and Anglieri should be given a mini-run to the end of the season. We're short of players, pretty safe, the weather is good, so give them a chance. Hopefully they will grab the opportunity to impress and show us what they can do.
