I was just checking out Tom Eaves on the BBC website and I found a link to the old 606 board - Bolton fans seemed quite excited by him back in August 2010. It also brought back fond 606 memories - there's many who posted on their who never found their way over here - more's the pity. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F18459310?thread=7684565&show=50
I miss the BBC site. So many more contributors and occasionally BBC journalists would contribute. This site, I fear, is just limping along in comparison.
This site has definatly improved from when it was first published, remember all those disgusting pictures everyone would post and you couldn't go through an article looking at one?? Also that ****ing 2 minute timer for every post on 606, did my head in
You should have seen what banksy posted on the 'Tattoos' thread on your board Lan - Derek Riordan would have been very unimpressed! I agree with you about the 2 minute rule - that was a right pain. However, there was some fantastic banter on the old site and a lot more members for all the teams. I kind of miss it, although this is a more flexible site. I registered on here back in Jan 2011, but didn't post at all until last summer as I was on JA606, but that site, despite being an original 606 clone, died on its arse.
Yep, I miss the old 606 site. Far better than this one. You had fans from other teams come on our board and post, this site is dead in comparison, especially this division and the one above forums.
Yep, there's only us Wycombe, Plymouth and Gills in League 2. Even on the Championship board there's some glaring ommissions.
it was a 3 minute rule on bbc i thought! that along with their mods was a pain in the arse. however i prefer the bbc site as there were more of us.
On BBC 606 you couldn't fecking swear without your comment being removed by the mods which explains why so many members were banned (not naming any names..Captain) But feck it, i miss it aswell..
