Leeds have appeared to have signed Patrick Antelmi on a two-year-deal, the 18 year old Australian born striker was a former academy product at Fratton Park and Neil Warnock has confirmed he is looking at Ricardo Rocha, another ex Portsmouth player...

Why Neil, why? Stop your obsession with Portsmouth Plleaasseeeeee.....

Ahould be a good Yorkshire derby tomorrow. Personally I cannot see anything apart from a 3-0 win for the mighty Whites. What are the odds that Barnsley will bring out another DVD..... I think not!!!

GFH Board member Hisram al-Rayes has stated that Neil Warnock will be provided with funding to improve his first team squad, if the never-ending takeover saga reaches a successful conclusion.

Speaking to CNBC Arabia, al-Rayes said;“We have a separate budget from the purchase total to buy better players to achieve promotion to the Premier League

As its the end of the week, lets have a song of the day and a caption competition, anyone want to send in a caption???

Morning Elland <ok>

All for signing Antelmi, hopefully he'll continue to progress and we'll hear more of him in the coming years. As for Rocha, I'd take him as back up. He's played in the higher divisions before for most of his career, so he must have some ability. That said, I seem to recall him being sent off a lot <yikes>

I'll go 3-1 against Barnsley. As much as I would love a clean sheet, we just can't keep one at the moment!

Good news about a seperate budget though. Hopefully it's big enough to add two or three extra quality players and we should be looking in great shape.

Morning all. al-Rayes also said they hope to finalise takeover by end of year. Had hoped for something quicker than that. If we miss January window it will seriously undermine Warnocks attempts at promotion regardless of how good he is
 
I have a budget of £100m for new players. Unfortunately I am not going to buy Leeds, lets hope this lot are.

With the coming games, you have got to fancy us against Barnsley. We have a tricky November starting with Brighton away so need to have a good run this month. My hope is the team is starting to come together, and we may be surprised, even if NW had to cut corners due to lack of funding he seems to have made a decent fist of it. And he's got lucky with Byram. Not sure this squad is good enough to be promoted, but its good enough to keep us within the promotion zone until we can - T/O permitting - strengthen it a bit.
 
We need the takeover to be done by January, otherwise we'll have to make do with premiership loan signings and whoever's still available on a free. So probably not anyone particularly great...

If Antelmi turns out to be anywhere near as good as that Aussie great Mark Viduka he'll be a tremendous signing.

What a fantastic player Viduka was.

The sun is shining, the temperature is still above 10 degrees and I have a good feeling about tomorrow. 3-1 to Leeds.

Talk of the T*k*o*v*r dragging on until the end of the year is scary. I'd love it to be done and dusted this week, leaving NW a good 3 months to work out how to spend the extra cash. Gradel, Zaha from Palace and Chrsi Cohen from Forest would do nicely <cheers>

Morning or Afternoon all - After the highs of last week and whispers of a T/O gathering pace it was back down to earth this week with a draw against Bolton, no new quality loan signings (despite an offer going in for a striker) and another week passing by with Ken in charge, need a win tomorrow to cheer me up.
