Well done Pompey spanking the Iron 2-1 although we should have had a third when we hit the post in added time. Score as predicted by SB3 was of course 2-1.

As also predicted by SB3 the Scummers got spanked 3-1 at the Toffees now my favourite sweet. When the O's get a draw at home they will be back where they belong in the relegation zone, again as predicted by SB3.

Who needs Paul the Octopus although I am a little concerned at Mystic Devo's recent prediction form. <laugh>

Even better for me!

As well as the two footie results you mentioned, I placed a £10 bet on today's north london derby. Torres to score first, and Chelsea to win 2-1. (At Coral)

Would you believe it- exactly that happened. I received £390 in winnings. And just to top if off, we had a lads' meet up tonight with people from our old high school .. Perfect day!

I've got to be asleep early tonight though- I have a small job I do on some week-day evenings and Sunday mornings now- but I guess I need to, to fund my current lifestyle! <laugh>

Yes, a good day for Pompey, SB3. A few more points in the next 5 or so games, and you'll be in the black<applause> *

And, before you explode with excitement, we'll be OK<ok>

* not financially, obviously!

My God! - wetting your pants at beating Scunthorpe (luckily) before 10,000 (what happened to pack the park?)
Me thinks Southampton will be in a healthier position at the end of the season than knuckledraggers united.

I think he's trying to WUM Wooperts.

Just noticed that adambanana has been banned........... again.

Saints have an off-topic thread - he was trying to be xenophobic but ended up just being Germanaphobic - there might have been some deleted posts as someone else was also banned.

He does normally behave when he pays us a visit that's true.

I thought, when the penalty didn't go in, that it just wasn't going to be our day!

There's lots of problems at the Cherries, on the field and off the field, and their forward scoring the goal that took us above them was just a bit too much for some of the fans.<wah>
