He himself did not hear anything and was only pushed in to doing anything my his manager and loving brother. Then he gets all upset because Ashley Cole wouldn't lie for him. No,he's lots of things but he's not a victim.

What I have learnt from both racism cases in football recently is many people blame the black guy.

Had John terry had the guts to man up and say "Sorry, despite the heat of the moment, I shouldn't have used those words, whatever provocation I felt I had" then this would have finished eleven monnths ago. THAT'S who could have been grown up about this.
It also, for the umpteenth time, wasn't Ferdinand who made the complaint so he had little if any say in it going to court. People are never going to agree on this. If Terry downed a bottle of whiskey and ploughed his porsche into a playground there would be Chelsea fans that would stick with him.
Surely the CPS would have had to investigate the public complaint by the off-duty QPR policeman regardless? Anton did not make the complaint
No, but he wascalled as a witness, and had no power to stop proceedings. Some people here seem to ignore that fact and continually berate Anton for 'carrying it on too far'. I repeat my question above: how exactly was he carrying it on?
If anyone carried it on too far it was Chelsea by asking for the case to be delayed for so many months. If you or I had been accused of what he was we'd be in the dock sooner rather than later and wouldn't have had the opportunity to roll out a load of our black mates to say what a great bloke we are. This should have been done and dusted within weeks.
