I know in previous matches when we've played against you, Rafael has had Bale in his pocket. I haven't heard anything about Rafael being hurt. I did hear a rumor about Valencia getting, but I haven't really checked into wether or not it's true.

Just on Parker, does anyone know when he's back.
I thought I heard AVB say he's nearly ready.

HI YV, all the team sheets I'm seeing have Rafael in them

obviously if he does miss the game that's a boost for us

I think Lennon will be peripheral, and Bale will come inside to look for the ball

I'd go Sandro Dembele Siggy Bale Dempsey Defoe to beef the mid up, but agree Lennon deserves to play - just think he will be stranded outside the main action

Yep, unlesss Fergie's keeping this one quiet, Rafael is due to play according to all the team sheets I've seen

Bale is nowhere near the force I expected him to be this season

not so much Bale force as a gentle breeze

I really don't know what's up with him

I wasn't aware having someone in your pocket meant bad tackles and needing to double up on them

To be honest, I can't remember where I heard it but Physioroom also seem to have heard something too, they have him down as having a knock although they have him set to return for tomorrow. Yes he has been good against Bale, you do often double up on him though.

Rafael seems to pick up knocks quite often, but when he stays healthy and gets a run of games he's one of the best right backs in the leagues. Kind of scary to think he's only 22!

The BBC has Valencia as Doubtful for the game, not nothing on Rafael. I hope Buttner plays tomorrow instead of Evra. Wether Evra is just past or tired from being fit for almost every match in the past couple of seasons, I think Buttner will have a better shot at matching up against Lennon. He's been exceptional every time I've seen him play.

I hope Lorris(?) starts, Freidel always has a blinder when he plays against us.

I don't remember Friedel having a blinder against Man U last season. I remember us conceding from a set piece with Brad stuck on his line as usual.

I hope Lloris starts, because he's more likely to keep a clean sheet than Brad, IMO, but it's almost certain that Brad is starting, so watch chances, and probably a goal, coming from crosses as Brad fails to deal with them.

Fair comment Mahmoud, Gareth comes in for an awful lot of poor treatment by refs who are supposed to be promoting the beautiful game.

It's one of the reasons why he isn't the force he should be, refs seem happy for him to be chopped down, without immediately going for the yellow or red card. It's disgraceful at times, and I'm afraid I can't see Bale being protected today. Doubtless all sorts of Utd players will be lined up to foul him in turn.

  10. Lawro has given us no chance. He can't even see us scoring.

He predicts a win for Arsenal, of course.

United confirm Foy will start, Clattenburg in contention. Webb sits this one out with one eye on champions league matches coming up.

Didn't he get sent off against us last January, after luckily avoiding a straight red for a very poor challenge on Palacios?

On a separate note, it's nice to see the media chipping in with their annual ****e fest on the morning of our trip to Old Trafford.
I'm getting very tired of the same tedious crap every time we have to play up there.
