Hopefully Cork is alright...otherwise a good night. Good for JRod to get a couple of goals and the rest to get a good run out. Whens the draw for the next round?

Someone I know was sat right behind the home bench and said he now realises how much Butterfield takes the piss out of the others.

He shouted at Kelv: "nice to have our near post covered at last, Kelv!"

To young lads: "Go on lad, you're up! Get ready!" - (when they aren't)

Says he didn't stop all game.

Man of the Match for us was the Ref. a couple of useful passes, better than Chaplows efforts. As I said in an earlier post, the draw is after the TV game finishes tomorrow.

How was he at collecting crosses?

For me Gazza looked vulnerable in the first half, not being assured enough when coming for crosses. In the second half he seemed much better at dealing with crosses and made two or three great stops.

Disclaimer: I was in the corner of the Itchen near the away fans so was watching his first half performance from the other end of the pitch. Given that my eyesight is as good as tonight's lineo then you might like to double check with the Chapel!

Just back from the match - our first team would have slaughtered that woeful Wednesday side. Ben Reeves & Sam Hoskins were running rings around their defense at the end, very pleased with their performances. Other than that it was a bit like watching a training match, we weren't really tested and no real stand out performances but job done and done well.
