Bowles10 and Yappy Try hard to post something positive and then you get a positive reaction from me . To date with the pair of you that doesn't happen . I have been to hell and basically I am a horrible Cnut who understands punishment and sacifice I am also a cunning clever fox who wont eat bullshit ... My outbursts to you both are based on your historical bullshit which suggests to provoke reaction I have a reaction as well We don't read your predictions your views we read your provoking words do why the surprise? This is just a digital playground so no harm done but why not prove me wrong and make a post other than slagging off the team directly Fter a performance? . I have to give you a clue here Or are you really just WUMs
Really? Have you read everything I've said so far? I'm a huge supporter of NW. I thought he was, and did, a fine job with what he had and what he was given in the time he was given. He's an emotional character, and perhaps he says one word too many to offend, but he was never really given a chance. Cissé. I love the guy, always have. I have nothing but great things to say about him. He is misunderstood and have been under some bad coaching. Dyer. I said he played a lovely game the other day. I hope he continues to do so. Adel. Love the player! He should be playing every day, every game, no matter what anybody says. He needs to be managed properly, but he's a lightening in a bottle and needs to be released. Or perhaps you're just a negative, depressed person, who can't stand practical criticism. I see what I see, and Hughes has done nothing in his whole career to show me that he's a good manager. He's survived by the skin of his teeth throughout, and he's doing it again. For some reason he has been fortunate to have been able to purchase some great players but he has never truly been able to manage them properly to their potential - that says a lot about him. Defensively, he has been absolutely clueless. He hasn't learned anything. Now he has no choice but to play with what he has, due to these injuries, so I am even more interested in what he does and how he reacts.
It's clear that you're football guru of the highest order, so what advice have you got for Mr Hughes defensively? Also, to whom do you accredit our improving defensive displays? Most people would at least give some recognition to the manager for this; but apparently you've got some inside information that's passed us all by- care to share?
Well that's a good start let it roll ... I am assure you i am not negative or depressed ... to day i swan in L'Orb and barbel fished in 24 degrees of sun ... If you are in the UK i understand its windy and rainy. I am just about to eat on our terrace and the great news is tomorrow i can watch QPR as the wifi is back up after a storm ... back of the net: hardly depressed
ffc fan in peace (honest) M.H is a good manager, but nothing more, to sum him up, he is not as good as he thinks he is
Sums it up _______________________________________ **** thread, and it has now been linked to the scum board by BlueZzzzz!
I'm pleased to see so many supportive and positive posts on here, despite our "perilous" league position. It may only be five games but that's often been enough for the doom-mongers amongst us. I agree with the majority: we have a strong squad who are starting to gel, despite dropping points during a tough-ish run of fixtures. I also rate Hughes as a manager. So, I disagree with Yappy and LaLaLa but I don't think we should be calling them names for expresing their opinions, no matter how controversial they are.
Rodney - the 'wit' of this board is to start name calling vs actually having a debate - one is not allowed a diverse opinion to all the school bullies who pick on the kids with different ideas. For the record - I do think this is one of most gifted R's sides's I've ever seen in over 30 years of attendance. Am a big fan of even those not making the team right now like Cisse and Adel. I just don;t think Hughes is all that tactically. I think he has a good relationship with the agents (one in particular) - and a good network with other agents / scouts and has bought well. Thank god for that and for our Chairman. As a people motivator, tactician and reading a game/ taking a chance - not seen it. Here come all the insults again.......
Can I remind Yappy about how tight our defence came at the end of last season when we beat Spurs and Arsenal. And how tight it was against Chelsea. Sparky is a very very solid manager, who set the foundations for the Man City team, did wonders at Blackburn....and actually against all odds stopped us from going down. We have had two excellent perfomances against two of the top 5 teams....We drew with the Champions of Europe for God sake!!! He has been hit by an awful run of injuries, he gets a system that begins to work and a lynch pin (Johnson) is taken away. He is losing defenders due to hamstrings left, right and centre. He has players with unaccountable mysterious "injuries", Diakite, M'bia. He is pushing a snowball up a volcano...and to be truthful we have had one yes one bad result...vs swansea. Come on you Rrrrrs, our season starts here (well actually not here it starts Monday night) Just get through tomorrow win, lose or draw (well actually you cannot draw tomorrow!!! ) without losing any other first-teamers to injury
