Well after just having watched ( 85 mins anyway) the debacle at the Liberty Stadium, one might almost be tempted to think that someone had paid Swansea to lose :emoticon-0127-lipss, not true of course, but I´m sure you know what I mean.

Pretty chuffed about this. Not only do I have a Swansea supporting friend who keeps telling me how worried he is about Norwich (although I am inclined to agree at times), but the fact that the BBC are head over heels in love with Swansea makes me actually quite dislike them, where I would otherwise love to see them succeed.

I think Laudrup might regret saying what he did IMO <ok>

Hmmm, perhaps I was a bit quick off the mark when I predicted a top ten finish for the Swans a few weeks back, looks like Beef was more on the money when he said they'd get found out.

Thought Villa had turned the corner after last week as well, looks like another defeat for them.

Shame <cry>

I have been watching their game - they have looked pretty awful a lot of the time and PL has actually been looking a little lost on the touchline, not to mention a little fed up <yikes>

But... Swansea are the greatest team ever. We should try and be just like them.

Shouldn't we?

I said they'd be found out. It's not that they play badly it's that they can only play one way.

Ouch to Villa too, still Lambert obviously their saviour.....

As for Swansea, they started talking about second season syndrome for Swansea and how they are in for a long hard season. Everton was just very good today, as they have been all season.

I honestly think Wigan and Reading will get relegated an the other spot will be between any of 4 teams (including ourselves, Villa, QPR, Southampton).

Will be a tough season I'm sure but I think Swansea and West Sham will stay clear of it.

Wow some brutal comments on here lol. I'm not to worried at the moment. We have a fourth choice cb playing at the moment due to injuries and a suspension and a very young left back filling in for the injured Taylor. Couple that with the niggling injuries to Williams, graham and Britton - not to mention the form everton are in - and your in for a pretty tough afternoon. I think we will be fine once were back to full strength. <ok>

Have to admit swans-m, you did look defensively very unsure today, even Vorm looked a bit wobbly, but you´re right, Everton were impressive.

Sadly, if your 4th choice CB isn't good enough in this league you'll get punished. Having brought in 10 players, CH has built a City squad with at least 2 quality players at every position (including in the hole for a 5 man midfield). I have confidence that this is what will carry City through this season. It used to be that any injury meant a drop off in performance, but I don't think that is the case any more. We still have yet to see what players like Butterfield, Whittaker and Kane will add to the mix, but only time will tell.

swans-m, what is going on with Dyer? I thought he was a shoe-in for the starting eleven, but he was on the bench today. I presume his sending off reflected his frustration at that, silly lad?

Sorry I meant 4th choice in the subs lol! First two are Chico and Williams, third is Bartley, monk fourth, Tate 5th. Been very unlucky with injuries lately. I think dyer had a minor injury today too. It's actually getting hard to track who is fit for us at the moment <laugh>. We should have performed better anyway as they are all earning a fair wack so should in theory be up to it. But like I said, so many injuries at once is always going to disrupt a squad regardless.
