________________________________________________________________ Looks really good, thanks & well done '68'.
Sorry off line... I haven't got vista methods detailed below allow you to remove old and inaccurate DNS information Windows® XP, 2000, or Vista® 1.Open the Start menu. 2.Go to Run. ◦If you do not see the Run command in Vista, search for "run" in the Search bar. 3.In the Run text box, type: ipconfig /flushdns 4.Press Enter or Return, and your cache will be flushed. No problems yet Col But I had to reboot the computer for it to cut in Sorry for delay Beth
I think it's fine, it's one of the things it does when you get XP to fix network connection or whatever the exact instruction is. Some of it might be your IP as well. When our OWS was downgraded to the new format loads of our fans couldn't see it until KC (who have a monopoly on the internet in Hull) updated their end. Something to do with them having the structure of the site preloaded on their servers to speed up access to it by just needing to load the news stories themselves (I don't know how to explain it better than that without it being technical)
everyone else seems to have got it col how many times have you tried pressing the f5 button because that should change it
If you want a good laugh Eamo, there's someone over on the Chelsea Board claiming he's a victim of racism because QPR fans slagged him over having a big hooter!
I think we're all at crossed purposes here. I got the new banner as soon as it was put on.....I just wondered whether DT's advice to "flush the cache" was a good idea anyway. Thanks anyway guys.
You wont have to do that, F5 or either ctrl/shift F5 will do it, if that fails delete your browser cache.
