So nearly half time...

Elliot and Bigi are stand out for me. Rob Elliot has been really solid, great save to his right early on. Bigi has been great at nicking the ball in the middle of the park and laying it off with nice simple passes. His set plays have been decent as well! We started really badly and we still look a little open at the back at times but we've definitely improved.

was gonna ask how it was going as i just got in from work didn't realised it had kicked yet because of the time difference but this sums it up pretty nicely.
 
Bigi and Elliot standouts


Horrible:
Amalfitano - Terrible game, see Obertan

Bad:
Obertan - Flashes once in awhile but what is it with French players and those pointless flicks here and there?

Don't think it's right to pick on Amal. He's not done much, but Willo and Gosling have been the ****test players.
 
Stupid ESPN "experts" saying Saylor should have been sent off, and we're lucky to have 11 men on the pitch.

Amal hasn't done anything , Willo looks horrible I agree, he almost gave up a goal all by himself, but Gosling has looked ok though.. Gosling and Bigi swapped positions halfway through the half , either that or they are interchanging. Don't think Gosling sucked, we need to get a goal
 
Remember the commentator saying Willo has played most of his career against lower league opposition such as Torquay? I wonder if he looked this piss poor then?

Vuckic hasn't really done anything either. Gosling has done nothing but a shot that hit the post.

Give him time. He hasn't really had a chance tbh.
 
Bordeaux 3-0 Brugge.

Sounds like Bordeaux are gonna be a real tough test. We'll need to play a stronger team against them.
