I had a dream last night where Conor Coady starter. He was in midfield with Sahin.


The fat that Kelly didnt travel shows he is now definitely a senior player.

Yeah I said that. I'm not saying he is going to make it but I've seen moments of very good defending from him and he's young enough to learn. He's a bit like Spearing, I'd like him to improve as he loves the club and will give his all. It's just unfortunate that determination is not enough in itself.

Tricky to pick as I want to give all the young players a shot but need to maintain quota of experienced players. Tough call. I'll be fascinated to see BR's starting line up and who he brings on tonight.

Chris must fume when reading these threads: people not knowing stuff he's spent serious time researching and writing for our consideration (e.g. players who travelled and kick off time/channel televised) and then finding few people do.

I'm really happy that BR is giving these kids a chance. If it all goes wrong tonight I will still agree that it is the right thing to do, if we can develop even half of these promising kids then it will set us up for years to come.
