My Ma said to me on Sunday about it (not off the cuff, I was reading something about Kemp in some African ****hole out the Sunday Times) Said that Glasgow's the worse place he's been. Considering he's been in Venezuala (15,000 murders a year) I think he's talking pish. Maybe it's because they dress and speak the same as him and his. I know some Bits who were here thought it worse than elsewhere 'cos the natives were near the same as them.
I can't see it being as bad as Karachi or Caracas in previous weeks. In the former, that many people are murdered that they get buried in mass graves. In the latter, the city prison is guarded by the army from the outside. There isn't a single member of staff inside, they all got chucked out of there a while back. Now a criminal gang runs the place, and people actually visit prisoners to get hold of drugs. The place is unreal.
Juarez was pretty bad. One night in Caracas, he went in a hospital at 9pm. By 9.30pm, 3 gunshot victims had come in, 2 of them dead. I don't think as many get killed as they do in Mexico, but Venezuela should be better, it has more oil than any other country in the world.
