Ladbrokes have been trying to kill me in one of the most subtle murder plots ever. Both my £10k Betting Experiments have resulted in more than doubling my original £10k investments. In an extremely inhuman and merciless attempt to halt this daylight robbery, Ladbrokes are relentlessly broadcasting, with ever increasing frequency, their ****ing annoying advert. So far I have had a mild heart attack, broken my leg, sprained my wrist and slipped a disc, all whilst diving for the remote control to mute the ****ing TV. Attempts to sue them have failed. I've had to replace 7 TV sets that I've blown up with home-made bomb concoctions and this is eating away at my profits. Basically, it's getting me down and I am close to being sectioned. In order to preserve my sanity and/or to save my family the cost of a funeral, I have decided to throw my last few quid on certain losers and suspend the Betting Experiments until such time as the said advert is taken off the air. My only consolation is that these airings must be costing Ladbrokes a fortune and surely reducing their customer base. Apologies to those holding Ladbroke shares which, obviously, have suffered as a result of the plummeting profits caused almost exclusively by betting coups and the cost of the forced increase in advertising. However, with this announcement, the shares should now begin to enjoy some sort of recovery. It's been fun fleecing the bookies but the pressure of coping with the intensity of Ladbroke's advertising was, in the end, just too much.
Ron just turn the GAME ON and use up your FREE BETS instead of watching those adds or else you'll just be another LAD BROKE and you won't be saying BELLISSIMO anymore
What is it with advertising men that something that they are aware annoys people is still seen as effective. I feel sorry for the poor guy in the ad actually as he must be very well known now and probably for very little payment. It's one thing getting typecast as Ken Barlow but quite another as the ladbrokes fool. Quite frankly i'd rather go compare !
