Attracting spam bots eh? They are a pain in the arse to get rid of unless you are a programmer yourself.
I use this: http://www.stopforumspam.com/search?q=37.220.31.2 (that's the IP of a spam bot).
It provides you with multiple replies to test against (XML, json etc) and you can (and I do) send the little buggers into an infinite loop wasting their resources.

Ah, that'll explain those really odd facebook status's from "friends" encouraging users to change privacy settings so that no-one can read their profile at all.
