Yes, you're a better team currently, but we tend to have plenty of possession but absolutely no threat in front of goal. Also, every time a team attacks us, our midefield and defence melt away. We have, potentially, big support - we get more than 5k to home matches despite being 91st in the league. Also, Bristol is a big city (600k in the urban area) so should be able to sustain two decent sides. Therefore, our current inability to get out of godforsaken League 2, or to even compete in it is particularly disappointing.
Hoadie Boi we did not expect to get anything from todays match vs your well disciplined and high flying experienced team. Welldone for taking us apart with simple plays. I think it is the strength in depth that concerns most Gasheads, the Gills have an experienced side whereas Rovers are full of youngsters. The biggest issue is that you can stroll through the middle of our park. Gill (who was injured today) and Waynetta Brown both whom need replacing although Gill may work better with a stronger partner than Waynetta. In defence we are three main senior players down leaving youngsters to pick up the gaps and they get caught out as was shown today. In Attack were are very limited, until we manage to sign a Lambert type player who can hold the ball up bring others into the game and he knows where the net is we are in deep trouble, tried to pick up Constable however Oxo wanted far to much for an ok player based his outing in the match when we played them at home. But its still early doors if MM gets Woodard and Kenneth back a couple of hard core loanees for defence midfield and attack the ship will be steadied. We hope. COR
At times like this I usually take comfort in the **** losing but can't even be stirred by that anymore.Even worse I'm actually going to Plymouth to watch what promises to be another massacre
We can't even beat the team below us so what chance do we have againist Plymouth just can't see where a draws going to come from oops I meant win.
Will we go down? Mmm, probably not - even though on the evidence of the last few games it's not beyond the realms of possibility. However, even being in this position is totally unacceptable. Remember, just a few short years ago, we'd never even been in the 4th tier and we were challenging for promotion to the 2nd tier.. I look at the likes of Oxford and Luton who are similar size teams to ourselves and look at how long they were in the Conference (Luton still are and probably will remain so with ****le at the helm) and I shudder.
It's a bit pointless you lot coming on here to wum though, isn't it? Bearing in mind that we pretty much agree with you! Mind you, the **** are now only 1 point above the relegation zone, so I'd be very careful when you start throwing stones - you're getting very close to being in your own glass house....
Didn't the **** lose to Barnsley the other week the team that are firm favorites to go down and the 82ers also 1 point off the relegation zone
A lot of your fans on the radio were suggesting you could go down this year. I wouldn't want you too because fans like Tourette's YOBG and Pissy Chrissy would then start trying to claim to be dedicated Reds
Is anyone else having this stupid bloody website crashing Internet Explorer every few minutes? I'm getting a bit cheesed off with it. It only seems to be Not606 that's making my browser crash, not any other site, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem my end.
Hey dead from the feet up Red dont forget you also lost today and for such a great team let in 5 goals not a great day or perhaps it was COR
Oooh handbags, at least we have won this season. Bit girly ain't you if that's all you can come up with
Goalkeeper on loan CBs either injured, immobile or overweight Midfield lightweight and lacking any cutting edge Forwards lack pace, can't score goals, and no back-up Captain invisible Where to bluddy start?!!!!
