Agreed. SWP was good today. I also thought Hazard looked very classy....not sure what Flyer was watching?

Mackie was playing in attack, SWP was on the wing. Did park have more shots or "set up"'s than SWP?

He only returned yesterday. He was given time off as he hasn't had a break from football in over 2 years. It was agreed in principle with Spain

He's much more apt in the role than Lampard and barely ever loses possession. He looked a class above Lampard today, you wouldn't have know who was the £100,000+ a week player if you closed your eyes. Hope he stays fit, not nice to see good players get long lay offs

I completely agree district, many of us have been saying this since his days in the championship. Even more impressive is how well he's playing given the massive injury lay off. He was blowing out of his arse by the 65th minute, but still managed to be one of our better players right up to the final whistle!

    Why mention Ephraim
He is pretty much surplus to requirements

Because Hazards performance reminded me of the way Ephraim plays, you can forget they are even on the pitch.

It's no biggy mate....but........"He was the 2nd worst player on the pitch behind Hazard who pulled and Ephraim." makes no sense at all. BTW...Hazard looked classy mate.

SWP was the 2nd worst player on the pitch behind Hazard who played like Ephraim. take out the d of the "and" and it makes sense.

I thought worst players on the pitch were

    1. Lampard (no contest)
    2. SWP
    3. Ramires

In Ramires' defence he was being played out of position. I didn't think Hazard was that bad but the probably is due to the early hype everybody expects him to pull a rabbit out the hat every game. He was the only player we had that made something look like happening until Moses came to the fore.

No Chelsea player impressed me much bar Mikel and maybe Bertrand

How mikel didn't get a yellow i'll never know.. He's a right dirty so and so! He practically hugged the referee during your first booking and almost knocked his card out of his hand, that's a yellow in itself.

You didn't say "played like Ephraim".....you said "who pulled and Ephraim"!! Oh, I get it....who pulled an Ephraim.......as in played like Ephraim. English not your first language mate?
Oh and I still think Hazard looked class.

I dont think SWP was our worst player
I would give that to Onuoha for the short time he was on
Mackie and Cisse struggled to get into the game when they came on and Zamora was pretty average throughout the game

I quite like Lampard DL. I thought Granero and Faurlin really bossed you in the middle today which must have been a bit of a surprise eh? Also thought SWP played quite well....but I'd never start him ahead of Hoilett or Tarrabt...especially against the "lesser" teams (not you!!). Ramires looked well out of sorts I thought. Hazard looks class.

Have you never heard of the phrase "who pulled an.." I would say someone "pulled a Drogba" if they were rolling around on the ground only to get up with no problems or "pulled a Barton" if they hit the 1st man on every set piece.
