Does it really matter if we´re not dave? - it´s certainly never bothered me, us being taken for granted and thereby also being underestimated, and I can´t imagine the players are particularly bothered either.
To be honest I'm a bit fed up with all this whinging and whining about how we always get ignored by the mainstream media outlets, makes us sound a bit pathetic to be honest.
I couldn't give a **** what those pricks Shearer, Savage or Lawrenson think or say about us, all that pisses me off is the ridiculous amount of money they get paid to talk about the same old **** week in, week out.

It doesn't matter to us, because we benefit from the "Leeds" effect, but surely it matters to the players when they get overlooked while the likes of Livermore get called up for England! I find that very disrespectful!
To be honest Dave, an England cap has been devalued so much over recent years, I wonder if the players are that bothered anymore?

Perhaps I am fortunate to live here (apart form the obvious reasons - sun, lovely naughty Asian girls etc <grin
as I cannot watch MOTD or SkySports "after games" postmortems. TalkSport have been very helpful in somehow making it impossible to listen to their iPlayer thing (it just will not load fully) and Radio 5 Live don't talk much about football from Monday to Friday so I can escape all the gibberish spouted by these pundits. Indeed the only time I get informed is via these pages when someone brings up the topic as i do not bother to trawl the web for these things either. (far too busy with the aforementioned sun and ladies 
).I personally do not give a rats arse what they say and am thankful that I no longer pay money to the likes of the BBC or Sky to pay these idiots wages.
Actually, I'm quite proud of being little ol' Norwich. In a sport where only clubs with megabucks can ever hope to win the league, and smaller clubs like QPR just want to buy their way to success, we follow a reasonably ethical model, we still have a genuinely local presence and importance, and a board who are not trigger-happy Russians or Arabs.
If they reduced Lineker, Shearer, Hansen and co's wages to something reasonable and justified then the license fee would be worth half what it is now and the BBC wouldn't have to make cuts. It really annoys me how much they are paid given the crap they say each week!
I think Norwich City has a wider respect among football fans throughout the country who acknowledge more readily what we have achieved.

What annoys me is Norfolk is the be all and end all for rich people who want their second homes when they buy up all our homes and then come up here 2 days a week swanning about as if they own the whole village (and often driving that way too) yet the rest of the time we're treated like some little smelly backwater where people have low IQs and do nothing but watch Jeremy Kyle all day - which we all know is Ipswich
Seriously though I get really cheesed off with the double standards. We need a change in planning law whereby to have a house as a 2nd home requires planning consent so where we have serious problems the council can say no more planning changes allowed thus protecting the rest of the houses.

That is one wall of the home dressing room just before the players filed in before the QPR game this season. I have lots of pics from that day. I have some great ones with two of my grandsons but their parents didn't want me to put them on the net. Fair enough. It just hits home what a crap world we live in when you can't publish pictures of them because some nonces might stare at them! I want to give up some times. But my faith was restored after such a great day at Carrow Road. There were so many nice people working behind the scenes for the club that it makes you realise how lucky I was to be born in Norwich and supporting NCFC. All the knobs who take the mick out of us, accent, roads, football, etc just don't know they are born.
