Lots of draws on the first weekend of games.
Cork edged out Kerry by a point with a last gasp free from Daniel Goulding.

Derry win at Celtic park in the battle of two of last years relegated teams. People have been saying Derry are coming on quite well.

the Monaghan game is currently on TG4 but I have just ruined it for myself by checking the scores. That is why i have blanked it out

London horse Kilkenny, who yet again disgrace themselves and the association by paying absolutely no regard to any other code.

They are by far the worst offenders for this.

I noticed in the Dublin V Armagh game Billy Joe Padden that used to play for Mayo is now playing for Armagh. I think he will be a good addition to the Armagh team who are obviously rebuilding at the moment but I like the look of that Swift guy aswell he played well. As for Dublin it look's like they have carried on from last year really which is good to see if your a Dublin fan. Regarding your point about Kilkenny and their disregard for the big ball your prob right no disrespect meant to London but if they can beat you by 14 point's then you have got problem's.

Cork take Down out by 11 points tonight. It has the makings of a Cork v Dublin final if things keep going as they are. The Dubs are in fine fettle.

The dubs stay unbeaten in a cracker against mayo. a game of 7 goals. The Dubs had scored three goals in the first 20 minutes.

Cork stay in touch and it looks like a Cork V Dublin final as cork beat Galway by 3 points.

The Dubs looked very good from what I saw. I was in a foul mood watching it as I had it recorded after the soccerball.

Great game between Dublin and Mayo, the good thing for Dublin is they dont seem to rely on Barrrrrrrrrnard Brogan as much as they used to and they look to have a decent panel now. Mayo were shocking in the first 25 min's but were a lot better in the rest of the game. Looking like a Cork v Dub final alright. Dub would only need one win from their last two game's which are against Down and Galway. Bring on the langer's lol.

Blimey never knew any of that lot existed. I used to live in Herts, only been in Cambs for a few months, not intending to stay here forever.

Taking me poor old ma out soon, Cromwell's house in Ely, she likes looking round stately homes. Do you want anything from the gift shop?

Lovely house, very interesting audio and in parts visual tour, recommended. Never been to Ely before, was suprised by its wealth of beautiful old buildings, like a smaller version of Cambridge.

Cork beat the Dubs today 2-14 to 0-21 to retain the national league title. trailing by 8 at one stage, the dubs just fell to pieces. A cork team missing quirke, Canty, anthony Lynch, colm o'neill, walsh and cadogan and losing Kerrigan, miskella and fintan goold early on showed great resolve to prevail. A shocking collapse from the dubs but I'll take that any day of the week.

Both teams to be better when the real action starts.
