Ex-mag though, and I read in the papers that we hound people with Newcastle connections out of the club immediately so he won't be around long.
See, as usual, a misrepresentation of my thoughts but why let facts get in the way of a good story eh?
I have never said ex-mag players/managers are not acceptable, just mag supporting players/managers.
Players not from this area are just professionals, paid to do their job.
Players like Chopra & Clark and managers like Bruce, all both boyhood and adulthood die hard mags, have hidden agendas and when push comes to shove (ie derby games) they cannot perform for us without heavy hearts. Some of them like Clark even go one further and openly ridicule the club I love. That I can never and will never accept again.
Steve Guppy, born in Winchester, is very welcome at this club and if he can improve our team then all well and good.
