As a collective i think it is fair to say that the Rangers supporters turned a blind eye to the situation that unfolded. If journalists had questioned Murray in 1986 then perhaps he wouldn't have borrowed against borrowed money and the whole thing wouldn't have come down like a house of cards. Perhaps he may not have abused the ruinous EBT scheme. Exposing that to the Rangers supporters would have equipped them with the knowledge to force Murray to reign it in.
I am not with you on being in a healthier state. BDO are about to move in to liquidate the club.
Calm down, dear.

Go and give her a good seeing to. That's what she wants.
EBT's were not ruinous during the time they were employed. HMRC were quite happy with it. As were the SFA. HMRC then decided to do a turnaround on that and chase those who have employed EBT's because they saw an opportunity for a claw back. That's what they do. We've discussed this before.
Forget EBT's. It's a tax argument. The problem that Rangers have is the dual contracts, which is an association rules argument and is pertinent. EBT's are pertinent to **** all other than HMRC changing policy a decade after the fact.

Hector never game the OK to use the EBT scheme in the manner that they did. The SFA never game the OK to use the EBT scheme in the manner in which they did. What happened was that Hector discovered Rangers were using the scheme inappropriately and issued a bill thereafter. So when I say the scheme was ruinous for Rangers, it is because the manner in which it was employed played a crucial role in the decimation of the club.
I cannot believe that you would persist in this argument. Rangers misapplied the scheme. That is where the argument is. Not that HEctor had a change of heart. I don't know where you got that notion from but it is complete nonsense.
There was never ever a time that EBT's were to be used as part of a contract. What you are suggesting is that there was and Hector changed his mind. That is cloud talk.

They would know this, if the listened to a certain blogger or two
