No, it's not a thread about replacing Villas-Boas with his predecessor.
Our former manager has rejoined the world of football, taking an advisory role at another one of his former clubs, Bournemouth.

I assume that he's done this with one of two things in mind.
Either he's sick of all the travelling that he has to do and wants to oust the current boss Paul Groves or it's a temporary fixture, til he gets a new job
Time will tell.
 
He just doesn't know what to do with himself and all that time. You have to keep quiet on the tee (How does he do that) so golf is a bit of a trial for him and you only have yourself to blame for a bad shot.
 
It was only a matter of time before this happened. Eddie Mitchell the Bournemouth chairman and Harry arre big buddies and Mitchell's business offices are literally 200 yards from Harry's house.

The current boss at Bournemouth, Groves, is despised by the fans because they consider him to be yet another 'yes man' to Mitchell. There has been heavy investment in the club over thepast 12 months from a Russian who has become co-owner with Mitchell. There have been calls in the local press all throughout the summer to get Harry involved, and the fans were calling his name at the ground at a recent home game as he was in the stand having officially opened their new training ground.

Although Groves is a former player of Harry's, I do not anticipate him being there much longer and Harry to take over for the rest of this season. He is not capable of merely being an 'advisor', and as the Director of Football role at Bournemouth is taken by Eddie Mitchell's son, it is Groves' position which will be under threat here.
 
I'm sure there will be some jobs at xmas in the premier league as certain managers make a hash of things, dont worry thats not a dig at avb, but what about qpr? hughes looks like a complete clown in charge of them, they have rich owners to fund arrys spending and he can bring flair back to west london.
 
Harry quite rightly and quite understandably, feels he has unfinished business in the PL, but aside from maybe QPR, it is difficult at the moment to see where the next vacancy will be. There is money floating about at Bournemouth with recent Russian investment, which will have added to the attraction of going back there. Not quite the sort of money Harry has been used to, but it is said they are paying Lee Barnard's wages in full whilst he is on loan there and word is he is on £14k a week, so maybe that level of funding is enough to satisfy Harry for the moment.
 
I had a dream last night that we had reinstalled Harry as our manager. I don't know if I felt happy or sad when I realised...
 
I think he always said he'd like to finish up at a South Coast club. He's probably relieved he doesn't have to rely on Bondy's crap driving for a lift.

That did not stop his interest in the position when he was at Spurs, but as you say he is attached to his South Coast Home. Perhaps he has his eye on the Chelsea job?

No commute necessary. Jamie still has a luxury apartment in Liverpool and when Harry was chasing the Liverpool job, he planned to use this apartment with his wife.
 
The QPR job is set up perfectly for Redknapp.
Lot's of aging pros with a number of flair and difficult players, including a bunch that he's already managed.
I think he'd actually do a good job there, too.

If he does go on to replace Hughes, then the owners might want to think about bringing in somebody with a focus on youth development to complement him.
They can't sustain their spending and the squad that they've got at the moment will need reinforcing pretty quickly.

He'd be daft not to if they struggle like I expect them too. Changing manager in the first season after being promoted to the Premier League seems to be the best thing to do and they don't get much more experienced than 'Arry.
