Time is marching on - Tuesday 18th is approaching fast - how do you think your lot a going to get on in the Lion's Den this season...my prediction 2-1 to the Wall Shame it's a Tuesday night though cos it will probably mean less of you nice Taffs travelling up to see us. COME ON YOU LIONS!
Nice early wind up Tommy. We should do okay at yours after thumping the weeds on the Saturday before. We have a very different side to last season with lots more pace and flair. My heart says 2 or 3 - 1 to us but my head says another draw and no City fans learning to fly!!! Keogh is doing well for you. He always tried hard for us but didn't seem to have everything needed to succeed at this level. Always seemed to get the ball stuck under his feet when in a good shooting position. I have no idea how many will travel to yours on a Tuesday night. Will be a minimum of 6/700 but could be double that if we get a good result against Leeds. Trust the bloody fixture computer though, as we have to travel to Palace the Saturday after we play you. Might as well make a week of it and stay over. Should be plenty of hotel space then as all the Olympic stuff will be over.
Cheers Tommy Me and the Lad may make the journey up on the Tuesday (Palarse on the Saturday) Where are the best places to park the car and have a pint beforehand.
On another point, i think that we will beat you next Tuesday week, It does really make me laugh that you have a player called ...Trotter...Rodkneeeeeeeee !
Park somewhere near Reading - if you want wheels on your car when you get back! Weatherspoons at Surrey Quay is always a good place for a mixed crowd!
Early results show that Cardiff aren't travelling too well this season!.....but we'll get the bouncy castle inflated ready for any away supporters that feel like committing harikari after the final whistle! Keogh is playing really well again - he's carried on where he left off last year - we'll be lucky to keep him for much longer
You'll not be laughing if 'Del Boy' puts one past your keeper like he did against Middlesborough....have to admit though I do like watching your Earnshaw play - he's a tricky little bugger!
It's Andy Legg you wanna watch out for Tommy. Who's going to tell him about our new blitzkreig strikeforce?
Earnie won't even make the bench Tom. He's about 6 or 7 in the strikers' pecking order. May well go out on loan soon - do you want him? By the way, thanks for your original post. It has gone quiet here this week prior to tonight's Wales game so its good to have a proper game of football and related points to take about.
Haha, I was there for that. Wall will probably be a win if we crush Leeds, and carry the momentum onwards
Ickenham is just off the A40, quite a few of the Cardiff boys called into the pubs there before the FA cup. Easy to get the Metro line straight in to London.
We both have tough games on Saturday - we always struggle at Hull....but best of luck against the Weeds!
Cheers Tommy It's a long old way to Hull and a tough place to get a result. Good luck though. We can resume communications again after Saturday.
Hi Tommy Guess you are a bit down today but no worries you will get your enthusiasm back for Tuesday. Mind you after our performance yesterday I wouldn't get too confident if I was you. If it weren't for Paddy Kenny we would have notched 4 or 5 against Weeds. Mind you your place is never easy so I'm sure it will be a tight game.
