The whole bounce thing came from fans in the Eastend. No need for contrived gimmicks trying to create an atmosphere.

Whole Johnson said was Forza EE - Lions lads 100%. Johnson said it much later. Club started promoting the idea to sell t shirts and it spoilt the vocal support by splitting it in the EE.

No ex Subbers and Eastenders behind it. It was ****ing cringeworthy when the club decided to get involved. Kids bouncing every two minutes and it mullered a lot of the other songs.

No need to force vocal support. Listen to fans but leave alone.
 
No need for it. Ashton Gate is already one of the best.

Thought; ask for ideas from those who have often have them.

But they aren't suggesting a song to sing, they are suggesting to come out and support them.

At the end of the day, they can't reduce the admission as much as I would like them too. Or do it the Peter Griffin way standing outside with a shot gun, they are only trying a marketing scheme, scam whatever you want to call it, to get fans back.
 
Ashton gate rocking with east end dolman blocks a+b block plus the ateyo singing is pretty intimidating.

When the team plays with passion and pride it spreads to the stands.

Hopefully we are in for a cracking season with plenty of action on the pitch,giving the crowds plenty to shout about..

There are many quieter grounds in the championship,I also think we are pretty noisy on the road as well.

Seems clear what is being suggested. club did read the old EE site as well and it was not so long the supporters trust sounding out fans on the same site who started the thing. it ended up being crap and the opposite of supporting the team mate. marketing often **** atmosphere up.

No, you are right - thats because we have some excitement back at AG now, last few seasons there has been very little to get up out of our seats to shout about (very often)...

As for the promo, I think it is an attempt to reconnect/bond with the fans again and I fully support anything like that. Remember GJ's successful run, we believed because WE WERE ALL IN IT TOGETHER...

It will take a little while to get that back again but goals and attractive football at the Gate will have its own rewards and will speed the process. What would REALLY help it would be to string a run together which means performing away from home as well. 5/6 games unbeaten with more wind than draws would do it in no time...

All the best teams play the same home and away and thats what I would like to see, Stop worrying about the opposition and let them worry about us. If we are good enough, we will prevail...

A little while off yet maybe but I believe that DM has the capacity to instill this mentality in the team but most important of all, CONSISTENCY is the key to bringing the missing fans back to AG
