When you get a player that leads a Premier league team in assists with only 14 starts or is famous for being near the top for creating the most chances in all European leagues ... it gets a bit difficult not to re-sign him ... Lol !!

When you weigh gowers service with us then i agree that he deserves a contract extension. He goes about his business quietly and does a reasonable job....fair play to him i say...
 
So long as he stays away from set pieces and sits deep in general play. Whenever a good chance drops to him I cringe.
Sitting in front of the back four he's neat and tidy I suppose.
Wonder if he can play left-back :)
