Bloody shocking if you asked me and no deterrent whatsoever...Should have been a points deduction in my opinion, which would have sent a message that managers cannot assault match officials.
Exactly mate..Managers are the voice and face of the club, and as you say Di Canio as a player got a far worse punishment than Pardew, which I find astounding.Considering di canio received a 8 match ban (from memory) for pushing an official, I think a ban of double this length plus a points deduction would have been a more apt punishment (considering managers should be setting an example to the players and fans f their club)
Points deduction?! Stop getting your Sunderland loyalties get in the way, Wenger got a one match ban for something similar. What an utter utter cock you arePoints deduction?! Stop getting your Sunderland loyalties get in the way, Wenger got a one match ban for something similar.

Very constructive of you sir...Now please explain to me how a two match ban and £20,000 fine is in any way, shape or form a deterrent for violent conduct against an official?
A slight knock in the back, yes it's not acceptable but it's hardly assault (some members on RTG were calling for him to be charged with assault
). Get over it, you only care because he's our manager if 'Marty' had done something similar you'd have put it down to passion.AmsterdamRoger:3433832 said:Sess only lightly elbowed Cheat Tiote in the chest and he got a 3 match ban, same thing
