Wes reminds me of the days when Walshey Elliott and Taggs were at the back for us. can see him weighing in with a few headers at the other end aswell!

Brilliant performance. The guy virtually kept our defence held together through all the changes in the game. If we lose him we're in big trouble because he must surely be one of the best in the division. Clearly missed him in mid-week.

Just need a goal scorer now or give Fuctas (sorry for spelling) a go.

The team does look much more organised with Wes in it- actually think he is benefiting from his partnership with Moore as he has a bit more pace. I'd also like to praise the progression of King- certainly a different player now, thought he really got stuck in in the first half, and we know that if he needs to step further up the pitch and score goals then he will. Can't see beyond Drinkwater and King as a CM partnership now, Danns is going to need to get his act together.

It's just good to Andy King, Liam Moore and Jeff Schlupp playing their parts. With the financial muscle here the academy lads are still pulling their weight

The return of the real Andy King and the breakthrough from Liam Moore are one of the biggest plus points front the first 4 games

I agree - have to contrast them with the performances of Nugent and Konchesky ... the first virtually anonymous, the second still poor decision making that could have cost us .... and as for Beckford! .. missed a sitter ... selfishly skyed when ream mate better placed ... gave ball away appalingly in our penalty area and then failed to pass square to Vardy who would have been clear: instead he gave Vardy a 40:50 ball with their keeper ... sooner rid for me ...

I said back in pre-season the secret to us being a force this season will be if King returns to form. Signs are good so far...

To be honest though, I would still prefer the Andy King who scores goals yet doesn't add much else to a more defensive, yet accomplished footballer. I just think as none of our strikers are looking exactly prolific we may need him. I know this conflicts with my earlier statement yet I can't help but feel fondness for that brilliant goal-scoring season he had for us in 2010-2011.

He's looking sharp .. and as I posted about Waghorn .. sometimes when you have had a bad injury it takes a long time to get back to what you were .. most of it is in the head rather than physical ... King looks to be be playing with his old verve and he would likely have had another goal if that plank Nugent had more than one brain cell!
