Fonte Absolutely ****ing useless

What I hate is these silly little pathetic threads. 'I told you so' Seriously get a grip, yes they both didn't have the greatest game but why do this? Funny how I have never seen a positive post from you...
 
Seriously whoever posted this thread is a poor excuse for a football fan. How can you single out two players to send us down? I admit fox was poor today but i thought Fonte played well. Got some key tackles in and vital headers which if he didn't make Van Persie would have scored more. So shut up you moaning little child and open your eyes. You should be a proud Saints fan for the performance. Rant over...
 
I thought Fonte had a good game untill the final 10mins

Kelvin had a good game, made 2 big saves as well as a penalty stop

There is no doubt that that was a PERFORMANCE to be proud of against a VERY good team. If we were playing **** I could understand the pessimisum. I don't know much, but I do know that we have a very progressive manager and chairman and a team that play like a team and give everything. We have also signed a couple of decent players I believe. Get behind your bloody team man.
 
I thought Fonte had a good game personally, he stopped countless lofted through balls over the top with his head that would have lead to goalscoring chances, made some crucial challenges, and didn't make any big blunders that would warrant calling him 'f*cking useless'.

Some people really....this morning if you would have said to me we would have lead twice against manure had the best player on the pitch in Morgan and only lost by the odd goal i would have snatched your hand off. Cracking game by the boys and cracking atmoshpere as well, all in all a superb afternoons footie and that for me is what is all about. Yes Fonte and Fox maybe not up to the job but they are we all have till Jan so lets get behind the boys and who know's they may grow into fine premiership players. If not I am sure the money will be found for those that are up to the job.
 
It wasn't Fontes most distinguished game, but how often is he going to come up against someone of Van Persies quality? Instead of panning our team you should be looking for positives and asking for better from them. Get it off your chest, if it makes you feel better, but believe me it won't help at all.

Were you there gomarchingin ?

I was and thought that it was a terrific pulsating exciting football match where david almost saw off goliath - SMS was rocking and it was great to be in the Prem. Everybody was so up for it and supporting Saints. Fact is we lost after bossing the game for most of the 90 minutes, and things hinged on Scholes coming on to get Utd control in midfield, Van Persie being a world class striker taking his chances and our 3 best players being substituted. It has nothing to do with Fonte or Fox not being Premiership standard players. Fonte did very well up until near the end. Cant understand the substitutions but maybe they were out of gas as they all put in a heck of lot of effort. I have never seen Puncheon play that well.
It is disapponting to get nothing from the game but thats football surely.
If Saints continue playing like this i think we will climb up the table and be looking OK by Christmas. After a defeat you get some daft supporters on these web sites and on the radio phone-ins etc - not sure that you are a daft supporter but you sure as hell often dont have much good to say about our team.
