Swans fan here; I watched it on MoTD and from what I could gather they were Swans fans booing Gardener, not Sunderland fans booing Taylor. It seemed like Taylor got the injury by coming off second in a risky tackle but let's face it, when that happens to a player on the home side the home fans from any team usually jump to the conclusion that the other player was at fault. That said, I saw it on TV - wasn't there live. So a Swans fan who was there might know better.
Justifiable when you look at the challenge on mcclean which was a sending off, but we didnt even gey a free kick, and compare it to the free kick the ref gave against us 30 seconds later. Re the sending off, regardless of how much contact he madr, it was a studs up karate kick at head height! He was nowhere near the ball
