This thread is devoted to our former manager and his progress with Spurs this season.

Did anyone watch the home draw v the Canaries?

And what do you think of his signings?

  3. Hm. It seems to me that this thread could fall on its face, very easily.

See, my "Mouser Watch" thread is a guaranteed winner, simply because 'Pool has been on a downward spiral for several seasons, and because the Mousers remain so highly deluded. Bang! There's your comedy angle.

But Spurs have been on an upward spiral for several seasons, and AVB has come in on a minor period of transition. It was inevitable that there would be a blip over this period. But I have seen nothing so serious as to warrant calls for AVB's head.

The OP, and those who take an opportunity, at this point in time, to scoff, could well end up with egg on their faces.

Stuck in the garage, three punctures and a knackered engine.

    Hmm. I doubt it somehow.

  6. Oh, the engine is still revving. Surely, you can hear it?

It's just that AVB hasn't yet learned how to get the might juggernaut into first gear.

But, when he does, we'll be a-rollin' out of that garage in style.

Poor old AVB! He's a nice bloke really! He just doesn't seem to know much about the subject he's involved! A bit like a real life Alan Partridge!

Your juggernaut has two flat tyres in Levy and Lewis, and a blind driver in AVB. Crash imminent <laugh>

Don't worry, Orange Wednesdays is back on.... but only in Haringey for the autumn.
Otherwise you can watch the Champions play Juve. That's what big clubs do on Wednesdays.

Start booing the manager 45 mins into his second game of the season, I guess, like Spurs

Not very good in charity shield games are you <whistle>

TBH i don't know what the fans expect so soon. I honestly do not think Harry would be doing any better in the current situation.

You were right about Dembele though - going to be a massive player for us, pure class <ok>
