Couldn't agree more. Still the season ticket prices in the Championship might be a bit cheaper. On that cheery note I wish you all goodnight.
It's half full, but if it becomes half empty, it will be because James Vaughans on loan at Huddersfield. Without a shadow of a doubt.
That's your opinion but I don't half think people are panicking way too much. Let's just panic buy in future, that'll keep us up It's still not been confirmed where Harry Kane has gone anyway.
Thanks Canaries, a truly entertaining thread. I respect your business model, but has nobody told your owners that the Premier League Sky money goes up to an even more ludicrous level (£60m?) from next season? Surely that is an incentive to spend a bit of money to make sure you stay up? But if you play with the same commitment and organization as last year you should be ok. Good luck.
I must admit, I didn't think I'd see the day when Liverpool would fail to land ANY big players! I know they've not performed well for a number of years, but I wonder how much of it is down to the fact that their new manager is unproven at this level?
I think its probably more down to the previous manager blowing (what was it 80 million?) all the budget last year on utter rubbish.
You're probably right carrabuh, and nearly half of that went on Carroll, what a blinding success that was!
The wages are supposed to be fairly high though which I assume is why we weren't in for him. Brenden Rodgers looked a superb manager last year and once Liverpool buy into his plans he will be again - a lot of people have pointed out though that Liverpool are shifting their risky assets and only buying low-depreciation ones which could be a preparation for sale!
