I don't think he'd be devastating instantly, but he has something we don't have. He's a little bit of Spice and I think he'd run through a brick wall for the shirt. We showed him a proper football club here with real characters and a real squad and he flourished, he's a Derby scorer and he plays with a smile on his face. I'm actually talking myself into this.

It is not a striker for the sake of it. Carlton Cole is better than anything we currently have if playing one up front is CH's way. Holt for all his qualities does not play the chanels well enough and doesn't have the pace to get to a ball played into space before the defenders. we saw that against Fulham. Every clearence just came straight back at us.

Morrison is not as good at holding onto the ball and waiting for support. We have quite a few attack minded midfielders who if they can get up to support a lone striker who can hold off defenders and who is able to play them in then they are quite capable of scoring.

I agree entirely, before you know it it could all fall into chaos and we'll all look like a right bunch of QPR fans, sorry, meant "twats"

Now, NCFC, stop messing about and sign Pacheco so we can go to the Liberty and show them real Spanish Talent!
 
Well, I'm off to take a ;chill pill'(more commonly known as a few bottles of beer!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm). Will venture back on here tomorrow and hope that normal service wll have resumed by then!!


PS - Also hope I don't find that we have signed Carlton Cole. Dna Pacheco - YES PLEASE, he loved his time here and his speed will create doncern against many defences. <ok>

We can keep the debates lively by all means, but is it too much to ask to respect other people's views when they differ to our own?

It pains me to see some of the name calling on here amongst our own fans. If some of the name calling that went on here, came from an 'outsider', some of you MIGHT have complained and asked Dave or myself to step in.

Both Dave and myself do let a fair bit go on here. Perhaps we should start to look closer at some of what our own fans post.

This is not a warning. Let's just call it a friendly chat, and hope that Dave and myself don't have to start dishing out yellow cards to our own fans.

Spot on. Neither Holt or Morison can do the job and both need someone like Jackson to play off them. As for Martin - the least said the better.
 
Don't give Dave a hard time. Even I've managed to bury the hatchet with him. Being a mod is a no win situation so I'll back him even if I don't always agree with his opinions

Wubba, you're a gent! My main problem with some of our own posters is, they make me so mad by their lack of understanding our financial situation, so when I do speak up, I say more than I ought to!

Anyone believing I was serious about Rooney and Tevez, have obviously never heard of hyperbole!!

He probably is better than are current forwards at lone role. But are we that desperate to splash out on his wages? I don't think we are personally. I think once we've got used to playing more the goals will come again.
