It is not a striker for the sake of it. Carlton Cole is better than anything we currently have if playing one up front is CH's way. Holt for all his qualities does not play the chanels well enough and doesn't have the pace to get to a ball played into space before the defenders. we saw that against Fulham. Every clearence just came straight back at us. Morrison is not as good at holding onto the ball and waiting for support. We have quite a few attack minded midfielders who if they can get up to support a lone striker who can hold off defenders and who is able to play them in then they are quite capable of scoring.
