Come on lads chill out, this isn't like you lot at all. Have faith, houghtons a good manager and will recruit good players.

The only downside as mentioned above is that some managers like laudrup will attract the likes of michu whereas houghton may not

I still think you'll get something from the Spuds tomorrow

Problem is Wubba, we've been spoilt over the past 3 years, we now have a small nucleus of fans that think we should throw the baby out with the bath water, one of our directors made a foolish statement about having a large transfer kitty, so some people now think we should be signing the likes of Wayne Rooney or Carlos Tevez!

They're isn't but there is better potential targets who will cost less. I.E CMS.

Do not necessarily disagree but if they won't come/clubs won't sell/ can't agree personal terms then imo Cole is a better lone striker than anything we have got and, unlike other posters, I would rather have him than nothing at all. One further point - at the moment we have 26 for the 25 man squad. If we buy anybody then 2 have to go but there seems no more activity in the exit door than in the entrance.

Well, if we don't sell anyone someone has to be left out - who?

This article set me thinking, particularly the part at the bottom from Hughton

It's a tricky one, but it's not like we're Man City or Arsenal, I guess the numbers all depend on whether a new deal is going on. Allegedly Hughton likes Cameron Jerome but to paraphrase Yoda "There is another..."(not CC)

I agree with you. Cole would not be my first choice, but if it is him or nothing then I say take him. Assuming that CH wants to play one up front then IMO it would still be an improvement to the squad.

So throw money at anyone? I've said all along, we don't need a striker for the sake of it, that would be a panic buy. I have faith Holt can play on his own if attacking midfield played more advanced.

Not being funny but what a lame post from a moderator.

Who on earth has mentioned signing Rooney or Tevez? People are being perfectly fair and optimistic to hope Norwich will sign a forward in the region of 5m from overseas. Don't think that is too much to ask and will hardly send the club into turmoil if we get relegated.

Anyway....

Just to satisfy a selection few on this board, my name is irdan I have no opinions about Norwich as a club or players individually - especially negative, I am aware we have zero pounds to spend, I am aware we don't scout players outside of England. Appears to be what a select few want to hear.

have just heard Frazier Campbell mentioned again...

Am I mental for saying lets just get Pacheco in

He went away for a year, he had a rough time, he can play where Jackson plays, whos to say if we don't get him we can't develop him in an atmosphere he clearly loves.

I dunno, can't tell if I'm blinded by just the fact that little Dani is a loveable guy.
