Fulham reject bid from Liverpool for Dempsey. reckon they are trying to get a few quid more so that can pay Berba's wages.
 
Like it or not I think Bertbatov will be a top move for Fool'em. Could be the bargain of the window IMO. They really do have a great track record in the transfer market.

We now have Zamora and Johnson - they have Berbatov. The winner?

I didnt want Berbertov (or Johnson for that matter) because Berbertov would not fit into our system, hes a good signing for a top club, not for one that could struggle. A bit like Taarabt, great when we were in the NPC, struggling to produce the goods against the better sides. Berbertov wont get chance after chance put on a place for him.

Berbatov is a great player but they've lost Dembele which will affect them badly. Dempsey may well be gone too in a few hours.
