Surely we don't have enough Sinclair threads and need a few more. Any volunteers? EDIT: Humor alert - for those that don't realize, I'm having a joke not being serious.
91 appearances for Swansea, 36 goals. That's pretty good in anyone's book. Bye-bye Scott and Rosie and good luck. At least he's got a low squad number (11).
I'm just glad it's over and done with now... Now for hernandez to sign on the dotted line and I'll be one happy chappy!
Swansea took Liverpool & Man City to the cleaners this summer , 30 million worth !! P.S, You wouldn't know how many of those goals were from the spot aswandam would you?
Good luck to him. But, i was almost disappointed when they said the move had fallen through a couple of days ago. It was just we had all come to terms with him moving and then it was almost a case of having a player who doesnt want to be here. But in the end the deal was completed. lets bring on Hernandez.
Bloody hell Casual, you don't know when to quit do you? One of the most exciting days of the year so we're bound to get multiple threads. The mods can merge them if they get out of hand later on. Lighten up.
Thought he didn't like sitting on the bench! This move has more to do with his young Corrie lady, than anything else, silly boy. Enjoy your early retirement Scott, and thanks for Hernandez...............
LOL. I'm very lightened up. You all seem to miss my humour and take it as something else. It was a joke. Why do people take my comments so seriously? By the way, the most exciting time was Brendan leaving, as that is what opened the door to what's happening now. If most fans had their way we'd still have Brendan and he'd still be god. LOL.
Getting double the money he was on with a chance of Champions League football. What a really silly boy! I think you may have to explain that one to me. 99% of people would jump at the chance of what he's been offered.
Silly me! there was me thinking being a footballer, was all about playing football!...................
And earning a living......................one that finishes in your 30's. Playing for playings sake is for us Sunday league players. Whether we think he is good enough or not he probably thinks at 23 he is gonna get better and probably feels that if he gets a chance he might be able to impress.... who knows either way good luck Scotty you deserve the chance you've earned it
He hasn't got a cats chance in hell of breaking into that team! and as many ManCity fans will tell you, "Don't see the point as he will only play the occasional game may as well have kept Johnson", so enjoy your retirement pension Scotty..........
I am assuming you mean he hasnt got a cats chance in hell ( in your opinion). He obviously thinks he does (his opinion which is the only one that counts) and we have 6.2 mill thanks again Scotty and hope you get all that wish for.
You might be right, but some people want to give things a go, otherwise they will always be looking back and wondering what could have been. If he doesn't make it I'm sure there will be other clubs he can play for. I think most players would jump at the chance of playing in the Champions League, even if they don't actually succeed. If it's all about playing football, then he needs to test himself at the highest level. We all fail at many things in life, but that doesn't mean we should stop trying and settle for a mediocre life. It might suit some people, but others need to give things a go.
I agree, Casual but I seem to remember that the reason he came to us only 2 seasons ago was because he couldn't get game time at Chelsea. Times change I guess, and his priorities have too.
Yes that's true. The move seems strange to every one, but how many players would turn down a move to Man City? It's his life, so his choice. Whether it's the right choice or not will be revealed in time. But I don't see why people are so concerned. We got a good deal, so should be happy. If he made the wrong move, then it's his problem not ours.
