Reinforcements Needed

Despite the comfortable win last night I still think the defence looks ropey.

Thought the new French lad Faure done well, but that Greek fella looked off the mark.

Hopefully we tie up a few deals today, including a goalkeeper or 2. If Alexander gets injured then we could be in a bit of trouble.

 

I've covered this on another thread, would you rather Rangers just signed tried and tested players from the SPL or SFL1 or continue buying foreigners?

Honest question.

 

I would rather our younger players were given a chance but some experience is needed.

Tried and tested SPL players could do the job for us but then again if we can unearth some decent foreign players then why not.

 

mentioned on another thread that we have bid for McGowan and Templeton of Hearts, can't seem
them coming but those are the type of signings we should be looking at.

SFL only allow teams to sign a certain number of players over 21 (I think it is)

Players like Naismith, who has already played for Everton, are still officially on Rangers books, because they walked away and weren't transferred out.

 

I'd rather we stopped buying all these random foreigners and gave the youngsters a chance, we do need at least 3 more players with SPL/SFL1 experience (preferably Scottish) and half decent.
